Step 1: Slice the Paneer: Start by taking 200 grams of store-bought paneer block. Cut it into long, medium-thick strips. Make sure they aren’t too thin or too thick—just enough to roll easily inside the papad and stay firm.
Step 2: Marinate the Paneer: Place the paneer strips in a bowl and add Kashmiri red chili powder, a pinch of turmeric, some peri-peri masala (or chaat masala if you prefer), and salt to taste. Now, using your hands—not a spoon—gently coat the paneer pieces well with all the spices. Make sure each piece is covered evenly so it’s flavorful when you bite into it.
