Materials
- Paneer – 300 gm
- Salt as per Taste
- Red Chilli Powder – 1 pinch
- Oil – 4 tbsp
- Sliced Onion/Pyaz – 2 pcs
- Curd – 1/4 cup
- Soaked Cashew – 2 tbsp
- Oil – 1 tbsp
- Bay Leaf – 1 pcs
- Black Cardamom – 1 pcs
- Cardamom – 2 pcs
- Cloves – 3 pcs
- Black Pepper – 6 pcs
- Cinnamon – 1 pcs
- Cumin Seed/Jeera- 1 tsp
- Ginger & Garlic Paste – 1 tbsp
- Tomato Paste – 2 pcs
- Salt as per taste
- Kashmiri Chilli Powder – 2 tsp
- Coriander Powder – 1 tsp
- Cumin Powder – 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
- Kasuri Methi – 1 tbsp
- Chopped Coriander Leaves
- Green Chilli – 2 pcs
Instructions
- To make the amazing Paneer Korma, take 300 grams of Paneer and cut it into a rectangle shape like the following image.
- Now sprinkle salt and a pinch of red chili powder and coat well.
- Now place a pan on the flame, add 4 tablespoons of oil, and heat well.
- After hot oil, add the paneer pieces and roast a little.
- After the paneer turns pink, transfer the paneer to a plate.
- Add 2 onion slices to the hot oil and roast well until golden.
- After the onion turns golden, turn off the flame and transfer the onion to a plate.
- Take a grinding jar, add 1/4 cup of fresh curd, fried onion, and 2 tablespoons of soaked cashew, and make a fine paste.
- Now place a pan on the flame, add 1 tablespoon of oil, and heat well.
- After the oil is hot, add 1 bay leaf, 1 black cardamom, 2 green cardamoms, 3 cloves, 5–6 peppercorns, a cinnamon stick, and 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds. Roast a little.
- After roasting well, add 1 tablespoon of ginger-garlic paste and roast well.
- Now add tomato paste (2 tomatoes), salt as per taste, and cook for two minutes.
- After two minutes, add 2 tsp of Kashmiri red chili powder, 1 tsp of coriander powder, and 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder, and mix everything well.
- After 3–4 minutes, add the prepared onion paste and a little water, and cook well for 5 minutes.
- After 5 minutes, add 1 cup of water and cook for 5 minutes with a closed lid.
- After 5–6 minutes, add paneer pieces, 1 teaspoon of Kasoori methi, and 1/2 teaspoon of garam masala, mix well, and cook for 2 minutes.
- After two minutes, turn off the flame, add milk cream, and mix well.
- Now turn off the flame and garnish it with chopped coriander and split green chilies.
- Now your perfect hotel-style Paneer Korma is completely ready, and you can enjoy it.
