Palak Paratha Recipe | How to make Palak Paratha at Home | Spinach Paratha Recipe
Materials
- Fresh Palak leaves/spinach- 1 bunch
- Oil – 1 tbsp
- Asafoetida/Hing – 1/4 tbsp
- Chopped Green Chili -3
- Chopped Ginger -1 tbsp
- Garlic -1 tbsp
- Salt as per Taste
- Red Chili Powder -1 tbsp
- Garam Masala -1/2 tbsp
- Cumin Powder (Jeera)-1/2 tbsp
- Coriander Powder -1 tbsp
- Coriander
- Gram flour – 2 tbsp
- Carom Seed/Ajwain – 1/2 tbsp
- Wheat flour -2 cup
Instructions
- To make Perfect Palak Paratha, first take 200 grams of spinach, wash it, and remove the stalks.
- Now place a pan on flame and add 1 tsp of oil and heat well.
- After the pan is hot, add 1 tsp of asafoetida, three chopped green chilies, 1 tbsp of grated ginger, 1 tbsp of chopped garlic, and saute well.
- Now into the pan, add washed Palak, salt as per taste, and cook well until it turns soft.
- After Palak starts releasing the water, add 1 tsp of red chilli powder, 1/ tsp of garam masala, 1/2 tsp of cumin powder, 1 tsp of coriander powder, and mix well.
- After the palak turns soft and water dissolves, turn off the flame and let it cool.
- Now, take a grinding jar, add cooled Palak mix, green coriander, and make a fine paste.
- Now, take a wide pan and add Palak Paste into it.
- Now add 2 tbsp of gram flour, 1/2 tsp of crushed carom seeds, and mix everything well.
- Now, little by little, add wheat flour, mix well, and prepare a soft dough( add water if required).
- Now grease the dough with oil and let it rest for 5 minutes.
- After 5 minutes, check the dough and knead well one more time.
- Now, take small size dough and prepare s round ball.
- Now roll the dough in any shape(tringle or round or squire I am making tringle Paratha) you want and apply ghee in dough while rolling it.
- Now place a Tawa on flame and heat well.
- After Tawa is hot, add rolled Paratha on Tawa and roast on medium flame on both sides and do not apply ghee.
- When the Paratha starts to puff up, flip it and apply ghee on top of it.
- Now again flip if and apply ghee on Paratha and roast well on medium flame.
- When the Paratha is cooked completely, take it out on a plate and cook the next Paratha.
- Now your Perfect and testy Palak Paratha is completely ready, and you can enjoy it.
