Materials
- Jowar Flour – 1.5 cup
- Green Chilli – 2 to 3
- Cumin Seed – 1 tsp
- Chopped Onion – 1
- Salt as per Taste
- Ginger – 1 tsp
- Sesame seeds – 1 tsp
- Black Pepper Powder – 1/2 tsp
- Chopped Coriander
- Water – 4 cups
- Oil

- Oil – 1 tbsp
- Cumin Seed – 1/2 tsp
- Garlic
- Chopped Onion – 1
- Ginger – 1 inch
- Chopped Tomato – 2
- Salt as per Taste
- Dried Red Chili – 3
- Chopped Coriander
- Water
- Coconut – 1/4 cup
- Lemon Juice
- Oil – 1 tbsp
- Mustard – 1/2 tsp
- Asafoetida – 2 pinch
- Curry Leaves
- Dried Red Chili – 2
Instructions
- To make the perfect millet Jowar dosa, take a bowl and add 1.5 cups of Jowar flour.
- Add 2-3 chopped green chilli, 1 tsp of cumin seeds, one chopped onion, salt as per taste, 1 tsp of chopped ginger, and 1 tsp of sesame seeds.
- Add 1/2 tsp. of black pepper powder, chopped coriander, and water as required, and prepare a buttermilk-like batter.
- Now place a tawa on the flame, grease it with oil, and heat well.
- After the tawa is hot, add one bowl of batter and roast for a few seconds.
- After the upper surface is dry, add ghee or oil and roast.
- After the dosa turns brown, transfer it to a plate and roast the next dosa.
- Now your perfect Millet Jowar Dosa is completely ready.
Hotel Style Chutney Recipe
- To make the perfect hotel-style chutney, place a pan on a flame, add one tablespoon of oil, and heat well.
- After the oil is hot, add 1/2 tsp of cumin seeds, 3-4 garlic cloves, chopped onion, 1 inch of ginger, two chopped tomatoes, salt as per taste, two dry red chilies, chopped coriander, a little water, and cook well.
- After the tomatoes turn soft, add 1/4 cup of desiccated coconut, mix well, and turn off the flame.
- After the chutney mix cools, add the chutney mix into a grinding jar.
- Now add a little water and lemon juice and make a fine paste.
- Place a tempering pan on the flame, add one teaspoon of oil, and heat well.
- After hot oil, add 1/2 tsp of mustard seeds, two pinches of asafoetida, curry leaves, and two dried red chilies.
- Now turn off the flame and pour the prepared tempering on the chutney.
- Now your perfect hotel-style chutney is also ready, and you can enjoy it with Jowar Dosa.
