Mawa Modak Recipe | How to make Mawa Modak at Home | Milk Modak Recipe
Materials
- Water – 1/4 cup
- Milk – 1 ltr
- Sugar – 1/3 cup
- Ghee – 1 tsp
- Cardamom Powder – 1/2 tsp
- Chopped Raisins – 2 tbsp
- Chopped Almonds – 2 tbsp
- Desiccated Coconut – 2 tbsp
- Chopped Pistachio – 1 tbsp
- Chopped Cashew – 1 tbsp
Instructions
- To make the perfect Mawa Milk Modak, place a Kadhai on flame, add 1 liter of full-fat milk, and boil on high flame until the quantity is reduced to 1/3 of its original quantity.
- After the milk quantity is reduced to 1/3 of its quantity, add 1 cup of sugar, mix well, and cook.
- After the milk starts leaving the pan, add 1 teaspoon of ghee, mix well, and transfer it to a plate.
- To prepare the filling, take 2 tbsp of chopped raisins, 2 tbsp of chopped almonds, 2 tbsp of desiccated coconut, 1 tbsp of chopped pistachios, and 1 tbsp of cashew.
- Now add 1 tablespoon of the prepared Mawa mixture and mix with dry fruits.
- Now prepare small stuffing balls with the mix.
- Now take the Modak mold and fill the prepared Mawa mix into it.
- Now fill the stuffing balls and close the Modak.
- Now demolish the Modak and garnish it with chopped pistachios and saffron water.
- Now your perfect Mawa Modak is completely ready, and you enjoy them.
