Materials
- White peas – 2 cup
- Oil – 2 tbsp
- Tejpata – 2
- Cloves – 2
- Green Cardamom – 2
- Cinnamon – 1 inch
- Cumin – 1 tsp
- Sliced onion – 2
- Chopped green chili – 3 to 4
- Ginger – 1 inch
- Chopped Garlic
- Red Chili – 2
- Chopped tomato – 2
- Salt – 1 tsp
- Cut potatoes – 2
- Turmeric Powder – 1/2 tsp
- Red Chilli Powder – 1 tsp
- Coriander Powder – 2 tsp
- Cumin – 1/2
- Chole masala
- Water – 2.5 cup
- Kasuri Methi – 1 tsp
- Coriander Leaves
Instructions
- To make the amazing Matar Ke Chole, take 2 cups of white peas (soaked overnight),
- Now place a cooker on the flame, add two tablespoons of oil, and heat well.
- After the oil is hot, add two bay leaves, two cloves, two green cardamoms, one cinnamon stick, and one teaspoon of cumin seeds, and roast a little.
- Now add two chopped onions and fry on medium heat.
- 5: After the onion turns golden, add 3–4 chopped green chilies, 1 inch of chopped ginger, and chopped garlic, and roast well.
- 6: After a few seconds, add two dry red chilies and roast well.
- 7: After roasting well, add two chopped tomatoes, and salt as per taste, and cook for 2 minutes.
- 8: After two minutes, add two chopped tomatoes, mix well, and roast.
- Now add 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder, 1 tsp of red chili powder, 2 tsp of coriander powder, 1/2 tsp of cumin powder, and chole masala and mix well.
- Now add the soaked matar and cook for two minutes.
- After two minutes, add 2 cups of water and mix well.
- Now close the lid and cook until 4-5 whistles.
- After 4-5 whistles, check the sabji and garnish it with chopped coriander and split green chili.
- Now your perfect Matar Ke Chole is completely ready and you can enjoy it.
