Materials
- Boiled Green Peas – 1 cup
- Garlic – 5-6 cloves
- Green chilli – 1
- Ginger – 1 inch
- Finely Chopped Onion – 2 tbsp
- Finely Chopped Capsicum – 2 tbsp
- Finely Chopped Carrot – 2 tbsp
- Semolina – 1/2 cup
- Pepper Powder – 1/2 tsp
- Salt as per taste
- Chaat Masala – 1 tsp
- Red chilli flakes – 1/2 tsp
- Finely Chopped Coriander
- Baking Soda – 1/4 tsp
- Lime juice
- few drops Oil
Instructions
- To make perfect Matar Ke Appe, first take 1 cup of boiled green peas.
- Now take a grinding jar, add boiled peas, 5-6 garlic cloves, one green chilli, 1-inch ginger, and make a coarse paste.
- Now transfer the Matar Paste into the bowl.
- Now add 2 tbsp of finely chopped onion, 2 tbsp of finely chopped capsicum, 2 tbsp of finely chopped carrot, 1/2 cup of semolina, and mix everything well.
- Now, little by little, add water as required and make a thick consistency batter.
- Now add 1/2 tsp of pepper powder, salt as per taste, 1 tsp of chaat masala, 1/2 tsp of red chili flakes, finely chopped coriander, and mix everything well.
- Now cover the batter and let it rest for 5 minutes.
- After 5 minutes, check the batter and add 1/4 tsp of baking soda, 1 tsp of lemon juice, and mix gently.
- Now, place an Appe Pan on flame and grease it with oil.
- Now fill Matar batter into Appe Mould and add 1-1 drops of oil on all Appe.
- Now, close the lid and let it cook for 2 minutes on medium flame.
- After 2 minutes, flip all Appe and cook for 1 minute on low, medium flame.
- After your Appe turns golden, transfer them to a plate and cook the next batch.
- Now your Perfect Matar Ke Apee is completely ready, and you can enjoy them.

Matar Ke Appe Recipe – Step By Step
