Materials
- Turai
- Red Chili Powder – 1 tbsp
- Turmeric – 1/2 tsp
- Salt as per Taste
- Cumin Powder
- Kasoori Methi – 1 tsp
- Lemon Juice
- Gram Flour – 4 Tbsp
- Water Cooking oil – 2 tbsp
- Ghee – 1 tbsp
- Cumin Seed – 1 tsp
- Cardamom
- Bay Leaf
- Cloves
- Black Peppercorns
- Cinnamon Stick
- Coriander Seed
- Chopped Onion -2
- Red Chili – 2
- Chopped Garlic
- Chopped Ginger
- Chopped Green Chili
- Turmeric – 1/2 tsp
- Red Chili Powder -1 tsp
- Coriander powder
- Cumin powder
- Tomato -2
- Salt as per Taste
- Water – 2-3 tbsp
- Curd – 4 tbsp
- Water – 1 cup
- Chopped Coriander
- Green Chili
Instructions
- To make the amazing Masala Turai Sabzi, take Turai and wash & peel them.
- Next step – cut the turai into long pieces and make one-one cut on all pieces (but not till the end) like following image.
- Into turai pieces, add 1 tsp of red chilli powder, 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder, salt as per taste, and 1 tsp of cumin powder.
- Next step – add 1 tsp of kasuri methi, 1 tsp of lemon juice, 4 tbsp of gram flour and mix everything well.
- Keep the Turai aside and let it rest for 5 minutes.
- Next step – place a pan on flame, add 2 tsp of oil and heat well.
- After the oil is hot, add marinated Turai into oil and fry on medium flame for 2-3 minutes.
- After 2-3 minutes, turn off the flame and transfer the Turai to a plate.
- Now place a Kadhai on flame, add 1 tbsp of oil & 1 tbsp of ghee and heat well.
- After the oil is hot, add 1 tsp of cumin seeds, one big cardamom, bay leaf, some cloves, pepper corns, 1 tsp of coarsed coriander seeds and fry a little.
- Now add two chopped onion and roast well until it turns pink.
- After the onion turns pink, add two dry red chilli and roast a little.
- Now add chopped ginger, garlic & green chilli and roast well on low flame.1
- Next step – add 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder, 1 tsp of red chilli powder, 1 tsp of coriander powder, 1 tsp of cumin powder and mix everything well.
- After the masala roasted well, add coarse two tomato paste, salt as per taste, mix well and cook until it release the oil.
- After the mix releases the oil, add 2-3 tbsp of water and mix well.
- Next step – turn off the flame and let little cool.
- Next step – add curd and mix well.
- Now turn on the flame, and cook the gravy little more.
- Next step – add fried Turai, mix well and cook for 2 minutes.
- After 2 minutes, add 1 cup of water, mix well, close the lid and cook for 3-4 minutes.
- After 3-4 minutes, turn off the flame, and garnish the Turai Sabzi with chopped coriander, split green chilli.
- Now your amazing Masala Turai Sabzi is completely ready, and you can enjoy it.
