Makka Methi Puri Recipe | Makke Methi Ki Puri Recipe | Cornmeal Breakfast Recipe
Materials
- Cornmeal/Makke ka Atta-150 gms
- Methi-1/2 cup
- Chopped Green chilli-2pcs
- Chopped Ginger-1 Inch
- salt-1tsp
- Red chilli powder-1 tsp
- Asafoetida-1/4 tsp
- warm water-1 glass
Instructions
- To make Perfect Makka & Methi puri, first place a pan on flame, add 1/2 glass of water, finely chopped Methi, and boil for 2 minutes.
- After 2 minutes, turn off the flame, separate the water and Methi, and keep both aside.
- Now, take a bowl and add Makka Atta, finely chopped ginger and green chilli, 1 tsp of asafoetida, 1 tsp of salt, 1 tsp of red chilli powder and boiled Methi and mix everything well.
- Now, little by little, add warm methi water, knead well, and prepare a soft dough.
- Now, place a pan on flame and add oil for deep fry and heat well.
- Now, take the small portion of dough and prepare a round ball with it.
- Now grease the roller pin and roll the dough on it.
- Now droop the prepared Puri into hot oil and fry well until golden and crisp.
- After Puri turns golden and crispy, transfer it to a plate and fry the next Puri.
- Now your Makka & Methi Puri is completely ready, and you can enjoy them.
