  • Green cardamom – 2
  • Black cardamom – 1
  • Peppercorn
  • Cloves
  • Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder – 2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
  • Kashmiri red chilli powder – 2 tsp
  • Cumin powder – 1 tsp
  • Kasuri Methi – 1 tsp
  • Water – 2 cups
  • Chopped Coriander

Materials

  • Mustard Oil – 2-3 tbsp
  • Chopped Jackfruit
  • Chopped Onion – 3-4
  • Chopped tomato – 3
  • Chopped ginger – 2 inch
  • Garlic cloves – 1 tbsp
  • Chopped green chilli – 3-4 pcs
  • Dry red chilli – 2
  • Bay leaf – 1
  • Cinnamon stick – 1
  • Green cardamom – 2
  • Black cardamom – 1
  • Peppercorn
  • Cloves
  • Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder – 2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
  • Kashmiri red chilli powder - 2 tsp
  • Cumin powder – 1 tsp
  • Kasuri Methi – 1 tsp
  • Water – 2 cups
  • Chopped Coriander

Instructions

  • To make the special Rasedar Kathal Ki Sabji, place a cooker on medium flame, add 2-3 tbsp of mustard oil, and heat well.
  • After the oil is hot, add chopped Jackfruit and fry well until golden.
  • After the Jackfruit turns golden, transfer it to a plate.
  • Now add 1 tbsp of mustard oil into the cooker, and heat well.
  • After the oil is hot, turn off the flame and let it a slight cool down for tempering.
  • Now add 1 bay leaf, 1 cinnamon stick, 2 green cardamoms, 1 black cardamom, some peppercorn, some cloves, and 1 tsp of cumin seeds.
  • Now add chopped ginger, 1 tbsp of garlic cloves, and saute everything well on low flame.
  • After 1 minute, add chopped onion, 2 dry red chillies, and roast well until the onion turns little pink.
  • After the onion turns little pink, add chopped tomato, chopped green chillli, 1 tsp of salt, and roast everything well.
  • Now, take a bowl, add 2 tsp of coriander powder, 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder, 2 tsp of Kashmiri red chilli powder, and 1 tsp of cumin powder.
  • Now add little water, mix well and make a thin paste.
  • After the gravy starts releasing the oil, add prepared masala mix, 1 tsp of Kasuri methi and mix everything well.
  • Now add fried Jackfruit, mix well and cook for 2 minutes.
  • After 2 minutes, add 2 cups of water(as required), chopped coriander, and mix well.
  • Now, close the lid and cook on medium flame until a whistle.
  • After one whistle, turn off the flame and check your Kathal Sabji.
  • Now your amazing Kathal Sabji(Jackfruit Sabji) is completely ready, and you can enjoy it.
