Soft Kaju Besan Barfi Recipe | How to make Besan Barfi at Home | Easy Gram Flour Barfi Recipe
Materials
- Ghee- 1/2 Cup
- Besan/Gram Flour – 3/4 Cup
- Milk Powder- 1/2 Cup
- Cashew Powder- 1/2 Cup
- Sugar -1 Cup
- Cardamom Powder- 1/4 tsp
Instructions
- To make amazing Kaju Besan Barfi, first place a pan on flame, add 1/2 cup of ghee and melt.
- After ghee melts, add 3/4 cup of Besan, mix well and roast on low flame and stick continuously.
- After 3-4 minutes, turn off the flame and little by little 1/2 cup of milk powder and mix well.
- Now add 1/2 cup of Kaju Powder and mix well.
- Now place another pan on flame and add 1 cup of sugar, 3/4 cup of water, mix well and melt the sugar.
- After sugar melts, add 1/4 tsp of cardamom powder, mix well, and cook until it turns sticky.
- After syrup turns Sticky, turn off the flame.
- Now place Kaju Besan Mix on low and add prepared sugar syrup and mix well.
- After some time, add one pinch of saffron food color and mix well.
- After Barfi Mix turns thick and starts leaving the pan, turn off the flame.
- Now, transfer the mix to the greased tray and spread well.
- Now, one by one, cut the barfi into a round shape( you can also ut it into any form you want.
- Now garnish it with Almonds and chopped pistachio.
- Now your Perfect and Soft Kaju Besan Barfi is completely ready, and you can enjoy it.

Tips to make Perfect Barfi in your First try
1. Make sure the besan is roasted properly; otherwise, it would give a raw taste to the mithai.
2. Remember to turn off the flame while adding the milk powder and cashew powder.
3. Check the consistency of the sugar syrup in between your fingers.
4. Cook the mixture well after adding the sugar syrup.
5. Check the barfi by placing the mixture between your fingers so that it does not stick.
6. Do not cut it till it is set fully.
