Materials

  • Sugar – 4 cup
  • Cardamom – 4pcs
  • Saffron Strands
  • Rose Essence – 1 tsp
  • Saffron Food Color
  • Mawa – 250 gm
  • Paneer – 100 gm
  • All Purpose Flour/ Maida – 1/3 cup
  • Cardamom Powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Saffron Strands
  • Baking Powder – 1 tsp
  • Oil for Frying

Instructions

  • To make the most tasty and perfect Gulab Jamun, place a pan on flame, add 4 cups of sugar and 4 cups of water, and cook on medium flame
  • Next, add four split cardamoms, saffron strands, one teaspoon of rose essence, and one pinch of saffron food color and mix well.
  • After the syrup turns sticky, turn off the flame and keep it aside.
  • Now take 250 grams of Mawa and knead well until it turns soft.
  • After the Mawa turns soft, add 100 grams of grated soft cheese and mix well.
  • Now add cardamom powder and saffron strands and mix well.
  • Now add all-purpose flour and one teaspoon of baking powder and prepare a soft dough.
  • Now cover the dough and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  • After 5 minutes, check the dough and prepare small balls.
  • Now place a pan on a flame, add oil for frying, and heat well.
  • After the oil is medium-hot, add the prepared Gulab jamuns and fry well until golden.
  • After the Gulab jamuns turn golden, transfer them to medium-hot syrup and fry the next batch.
