Materials
- Clarified Butter – 2 tbsp
- Grated Carrot – 1 kg
- Sugar – 300 gm
- Milk – 1 ltr
- Cashew nut
- Almonds
- Black Raisins
- Cardamom Powder – 1 tsp
- Clarified Butter – 2 tbsp
Instructions
- To make the perfect Gajar Ka Halwa, place a kadhai on flame, add 2 tbsp of ghee, and heat well
- After the ghee melts, add 1 kg of grated carrot, mix well, and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- After 2-3 minutes, close the lid and cook for 7-8 minutes.
- After 7-8 minutes, add 300 grams of sugar, mix well and cook.
- Place another pan on flame, add 1 liter of milk, and boil it until its quantity reduces to 1/2 of its original consistency.
- After the milk turns thick, turn off the flame and keep it aside.
- Add prepared thick milk and mix well after the carrot turns soft.
- Add chopped dry fruits, 1 tsp of cardamom powder, and 2 tbsp of ghee. Mix everything well and cook for 5 minutes.
- After 5 minutes, turn off the flame and serve your Gajar Ka Halwa.
