Dhaba Style Palak Paneer Recipe | How to make Palak Paneer | Cottage Cheese In Spinach Gravy
Materials
- Spinach Sugar – 1 tsp
- Coriander Green chilli – 2 pcs
- Ghee – 1 tbsp
- Oil – 1 tbsp
- Bay Leaf – 1 pcs
- Dry red chilli – 1
- Cinnamon stick
- Cloves – 2 pcs
- Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
- Chopped garlic – 1 tsp
- Grated ginger – 1 tsp
- Chopped green chilli – 2
- Chopped onion – 1
- Chopped tomato – 1
- Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
- Coriander seeds – 1 tsp
- Cumin seeds – 1/2 tsp
- Chilli powder – 1 tsp
- Kasuri Methi – 1 tsp
- Curd – 3 tbsp
- Paneer cubes – 250 grams
- Fresh cream – 1 tbsp
- Garam masala – 1 tsp
- Chopped garlic – 1/2 tsp
- Dry red chilli – 2 pcs
- Dry red chilli – 2 pcs
- Cumin seeds – 1/2 tsp
- Kashmiri chilli powder – 1/2 tsp
Instructions
- To make perfect Dhaba Style Palak Paneer, first place a pan on flame, add 1 liter of water, 1 tsp of sugar, and boil.
- After the water starts boiling, add Spinach to the water and cook for 2 minutes.
- Now, take water in a bowl/pan and add some ice cubes to it.
- After 2 minutes, transfer the Spinach into chilled water.
- Now, take a grinding jar and add chilled Spinach (remove the excess water) into it.
- Now add coriander, two green chilli and grind everything well and make a fine paste.
- Now place a kadhai on flame and add 1 tbsp of ghee, 1 tbsp of oil, and heat well.
- Now add one bay leaf, two dry red chilli, cinnamon sticks, and two cloves, 1 tsp of cumin seeds, and let them splutter.
- Now add 1 tbsp of chopped garlic, two chopped green chilli, 1 tsp of grated ginger, and roast well until golden.
- Now add one roughly chopped onion and roast well until it turns translucent.
- After 2 minutes, add one chopped tomato, salt as per taste, and mix well.
- Now, close the lid and roast until tomatoes turn soft.
- After 1-2 minutes, remove the lid and add 1 tsp of turmeric powder, 1 tsp of coriander powder, 1/2 tsp of cumin powder, 1 tsp of red chilli powder, and mix well and roast.
- After some time, add 1 tsp of Kasuri methi and mix well.
- After Masala is roasted well, add 3 tbsp of curd and mix well.
- While cooking the gravy, place a pan on flame, add 1 tsp of ghee, 1 tsp of oil, and heat well.
- Now, add paneer cubes into the pan and roast a little.
- After the paneer turns golden, turn off the flame.
- After gravy starts releasing the oil, add spinach paste into the pan, mix well, and cook on low, medium flame.
- Now add 1 tbsp of fresh cream, butter cube, and mix well again.
- Now add roasted cheese cubes, 1 tsp of Garam Masala, mix well, and cook for 1 minute.
- After 1 minute, turn off the flame and garnish it with creams.
- Now again, place the pan on the flame(which we have used to fry paneer) and add 1/2 tsp of chopped garlic, two dry red chilli, one pinch of cumin seeds 1/2 tsp of Kashmiri red chilli.
- Now turn off the flame and add tempering on the prepared Palak Paneer.
- Now your Dhaba Style Palak Paneer is completely ready, and you can enjoy it.
