Materials
For Tamarind Chutney
- Oil – 1 tbsp
- Cumin Seeds – 1/2 tsp
- Asafoetida – 2 pinch
- Jaggery/Gud – 50 gms
- Sugar – 2 tbsp
- Red Chilli Powder – 1 tsp
- Coriander Powder – 1/2 tsp
- Garam Masala – 1/2 tsp
- Pepper Powder – 1/2 tsp
- Salt as per taste
- Black Salt – 1/2 tsp
For Green Chutney
- Coriander Leaves
- Mint Leaves
- Green Chillies – 2
- Ginger – 1 inch
- Futana/Roasted Gram Dal – 2 tbsp
- Asafoetida – 2 pinch
- Salt as per taste
- Cumin Seeds – 1/2 tsp
- Black Salt – 1/2 tsp
- Dry Mango Powder – 1 tsp
- Lemon Juice – 1 tsp
- Water – 2 tbsp
For Dahi Puri Chaat
- Thick Curd – 1 cup
- Salt as per taste
- Sugar – 1/2 tsp
- Boiled & Mashed Potato – 2
- Red Chilli Powder
- Salt
- Finely Chopped Coriander
- Paani Puri
- Boondi
- Finely Chopped Onion
- Finely Chopped Tomato
- Nylon Sev
- Red Chilli Powder
- Coriander Leaves
Instructions
Tamarind Chutney Recipe
- To make tamarind Chutney, take 500 grams of seedless tamarind and soak it in hot water for 15 minutes.
- Now, take a grinding jar, add soaked tamarind into it and make a fine paste.
- Transfer the tamarind paste to a strainer and sieve it into a bowl.
- Now add 4 tbsp of water and mix well.
- Now place a pan on flame, add 1 tbsp of oil, and heat well.
- After the oil is hot, add 1/2 tsp of cumin seeds, two pinch asafoetida, tamarind paste, and mix on low flame.
- Now add 50 grams of crushed jaggery, 2 tbsp of sugar, mix well and melt.
- Now add 1 tsp of red chilli powder, 1/2 tsp of coriander powder, 1/2 tsp of garam masala, 1/2 tsp pepper powder, salt as per taste, 1/2 tsp of black salt.
- Now mix everything well and cook until it turns thick.
- After tamarind chutney turns thick, turn off the flame, and your tamarin chutney is ready.
Green Chutney Recipe
- To make Perfect Green chutney, take a grinding jar, and add two handfuls of coriander leaves.
- Now add 1/4 cup of fresh mint, two green chillies, 1 inch of ginger, 2 tbsp of roasted gram dal, two pinches of asafoetida, salt as per taste, 1/4 tsp of cumin seeds, 1/2 tsp of black salt, 1 tsp of dry mango powder, 1 tsp of lemon juice, 2 tbsp of water.
- Now grind everything well and make a fine paste.
- Now your Perfect Green chutney is ready.
Whisked Curd Recipe
- To prepare the perfect Curd for Dahi Puri Chaat, take 1 cup of curd.
- Now add 1/2 tsp of sugar, whisk well, and your card is ready.
Potato Filling
- To prepare Perfect Potato Filling, take a bowl and add two boiled & mashed potatoes.
- Now add 2-3 tbsp of cooked moong dal, red chilli powder, salt as per taste, finely chopped coriander, and mix everything well.
- Now your Dahi Puri Chaat Filling is ready.
Dahi Puri Chaat Assembling
- Now, take Puri and make holes in all Puri.
- Now fill prepared Potato Masala into all Puri.
- Now add soaked Boondi, finely chopped onion, and finely chopped onion.
- Now add tamarind chutney, green chutney, and whisked Dahi(curd).
- Now sprinkle red chilli powder, chaat masala, nylon sev, and chopped coriander.
- Now your Dahi Puri Chaat is completely ready, and you can enjoy it.
