Materials
For Bhalla Recipe Pre-Mix
- 2/3 cup Split Moong Dal
- 1/3 cup Urad Dal/Split Gram
- 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
- Salt as per taste
- 1/4 tsp Asafoetida
To make Bhalla
- 1 cup Instant dahi Bhalla Premix
- 1 tsp Grated Ginger
- 2 Chopped Chilli
- 1.5 cup Hot Water
- Oil for frying
To Soak Bhalla
- 2 cup Hot water
- Salt
- Asafoetida
To Serve Dahi Bhalla
- Hari Chutney
- Mithi Chutney
- Curd/Dahi
- 1 tsp sugar
Instructions
Dahi Bhalla Pre Mix Recipe
- To make Dahi Bhalla Premix first take 2/3 cup of split Moong Dal, 1/3 cup of Urad Dal/ Split Gram.
- Now wash and both dal/pea into water 2 to 3 times.
- Now drain water with the help of a sieve.
- Now spread Dal/Pea on a Towel and let it dry completely.
- Now place a pan on flame and add dal/Pea to it.
- Now roast lightly until light crisp and remove Moist.
- Now take a grinding jar and add Roasted Dal/Pea to it.
- Now grind well and Prepare a fine Powder.
- Now add 1 tsp of cumin seeds, salt as per taste, 1/4 tsp of Asafoetida, 1/4 tsp of pepper powder and mix well.
- Now your Dahi Bhalla Premix is ready and you can store it for 2 months into an air-tight box.
Dahi Bhalla Recipe
- Now take a bowl and add 1 cup of premix to it.
- Now add 1 tsp of ginger garlic paste, 2 chopped green chilli.
- Now add hot water in batches and prepare a thick batter.
- Now keep it aside for 15 Minutes.
- After 15 minutes check it again and add 2 tbsp of water and whisk well in one direction for 5 minutes until fluffy.
- Now to test its consistency take water in a bowl.
- Now add some batter in the water and if batter came up this means the batter consistency is perfect.
- Now place a pan on flame and add oil for deep frying and heat well.
- Now dip your finger into water and take a small part of the batter and drop it into the hot oil.
- Splash oil on vada and fry well on all sides.
- While the vada is roasting take hot water in a bowl.
- Now add 1 tsp of salt, 1/4 tsp of asafoetida, and mix well.
- After Vada cooked well transfer them into Prepared Water and dip for 15 to 20 minutes.
- Now follow the same steps and fry all Vada and dip into the water.
- Now vada is ready and it’s time to serve them.
Dahi Bhalla Masala
- Now to make Dahi Bhalla Masala First take a bowl.
- Now add 1 tsp of roasted cumin & Asafoetida, 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder, 1/2 tsp black pepper, 1/2 tsp black salt, 1/4 tsp salt, 1 tbsp of chaat masala.
- Now mix everything well and your Dahi Bhalla Masala is ready.
Serve Dahi Bhalla
- To serve Dahi Bhalla You Need Hari Chutney, Mithi Chutney, and Thick Curd( Add 1 tsp of sugar and mix well).
- Now take a Dahi Bhalla and squeeze off the water.
- Now serve Bhalla in a Bowl or Dona.
- Now add Pour curd after this add pour Mithi chutney After this add Green Chutney.
- Now sprinkle some Dahi Bhalla Masala and sprinkle some red chilli and add some finely chopped coriander.
