Materials
- Bhindi – 500 gm
- Red Chilli Powder – 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric – 1/2 tsp
- Salt – 1 tsp
- Lemon Juice – 2 tbsp
- Gram Flour – 2 tbsp
- Mustard Oil – 2 tbsp
- Onion Petals – 2 pcs
- Mustard Oil – 1 tbsp
- Cumin – 1 tsp
- Asafoetida – 1/4 tsp
- Chopped Onion – 2 pcs
- Green Chilli – 4 pcs
- Ginger – 1.5 inch
- Tomato – 2 pcs
- Salt as per Taste
- Curd – 3 tbsp
- Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder – 1 tsp
- Turmeric – 1/4 tsp
- Cumin Powder – 1/2 tsp
- Coriander Powder – 2 tsp
- Black Salt – 1/2 tsp
- Garam Masala – 1/2 tsp
- Kasoori Methi – 1 tsp
- Chopped Coriander Leaves
Instructions
- To make the perfect Masala Bhindi, take 500 grams of Bhindi and wash well.
- Now cut the Bhindi into small pieces.
- Now add 1/2 tsp of red chili powder, 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder, 1 tsp of salt, 2 tbsp of lemon juice, and 2 tbsp of gram flour and mix well.
- Now place a kadhai on flame, add 2 tablespoons of mustard oil, and heat well.
- After hot oil, add 2 onion petals and roast for a minute.
- After a minute, transfer the onion petals to a plate.
- Now add the marinated Bhindi into the oil and fry a little.
- Now transfer the Bhindi into a plate.
- Add 1 tablespoon of oil to the kadhai and heat well.
- After hot oil, add 1 tsp of cumin seeds and 1/4 tsp of asafoetida and roast a little.
- After a few seconds, add finely chopped onion and roast well until golden.
- After the onion turns golden, add 4 crushed green chilies and 1.5 inches of ginger.
- After two minutes, 2 grated tomatoes, salt as per taste, and cook well.
- Now take a bowl, add 3 tbsp of curd, 1 tbsp of Kashmiri red chili powder, 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder, 1/2 tsp of cumin powder, 2 tbsp of coriander powder, and 1/2 tsp of black salt, and mix everything well.
- Now on low flame, add the curd mixture, mix well, and cook on low flame.
- After the gravy releases the oil and fried Bhindi, mix well.
- Now add 1/2 tsp of garam masala and 1 tsp of kasoori methi, mix well, and cook for 2 minutes on low flame.
- After two minutes, add fried onion and chopped coriander and mix well.
- Your perfect Masala Bhindi is completely ready, and you can enjoy it.
