Materials
- 1.5 cup Gram Flour
- 5 tbsp Ghee
- 1/2 cup Semolina
- 1/2 tsp Cardamom Powder
- 3/4 cup Sugar Powder
- Chopped Pistachio or Dy fruits
Instructions
- To make Besan Suji Barfi take a bowl and add 1.5 cups of gram flour to it.
- Now, in the bowl, add 1/2 cup of semolina and mix well with a spoon or whisker.
- Now, place a heavy-based pan on flame and add 4 tbsp of ghee to it and melt.
- After ghee melts, add gram flour and semolina mix to it, mix well, and stir continuously on low flame.
- After turning to a little golden, add 1 tbsp of ghee again and mix well until golden on low flame and stir continuously.
- After the mix turns to golden, add 1/2 tsp of cardamom powder and mix well.
- Now add 3/4 cup of sugar powder and mix well and cook on low flame.
- After the mix starts leaving the pan, turn off the flame and stir continuously because the pan is hot.
- Now, take a tray and grease it with ghee.
- Now, place butter-paper on the tray and also grease it with ghee.
- Now, some chopped pistachio on the tray’s surface, or you can also use any other dry fruits.
- Now transfer barfi mix to that tray and tap to remove the bubble.
- Now, put the tray into the fridge for 2 hours to set.
- After 2 hours, take out the tray from the fridge.
- Now, take out the burfi from the tray and remove the butter paper.
- Now, cut it into small pieces as you want.
- Now your Besan Suji Barfi is completely ready, and you can enjoy it.
