Besan Ki Sabji Recipe | How to make Besan ki Sabji at Home | Gatte ki Sabji Recipe
Materials
- Besan – 1 cup
- Water Cooking oil – 2 tbsp
- Garlic Paste – 1 tbsp
- Tomato – 2 pcs
- Onion – 2 pcs
- Green chilli – 2 pcs
- Ginger -1 inch
- Cumin – 1/2 tbsp
- Hing/Asafoetida – 1/4 tsp
- Salt as per taste
- Turmeric Powder – 1 tsp
- Coriander – 1 tsp
- Red chilli powder – 1/2 tsp
- Garam Masala – 1/2 tsp
- Kasoori Methi – 1/2 tsp
Instructions
- To make amazing Besan ki Sabzi take a grinding jar and add two tomatoes, two green chilies, 1 inch of ginger and make a fine paste and transfer it to a bowl.
- Now, add two onions into the jar, grind well, make a fine paste, and transfer it to a bowl.
- Now, take a bowl and add gram flour, turmeric powder, salt, and asafoetida.
- Now, little by little, add water and make a stiff dough.
- Now, take a small portion of the dough and prepare small balls with it., mix well, and roast.
- Now sprinkle Besan on small balls and coat well.
- Now, place a pan on flame and add 2 tbsp oil, and heat well.
- After the oil is hot, add all prepared balls and roast well until they turn a little pink.
- After Balls turns golden and pink, turn off the flame and transfer all balls to a bowl.
- Now again, place the pan on flame and into the same oil, add cumin seeds, asafoetida, onion paste.
- After the onion turns a little golden, add garlic paste and mix well.
- Now add turmeric powder, and mix everything well.
- After the onion paste is roasted well, add prepared tomato paste into the pan and mix well.
- Now add Kashmiri red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala, salt, and mix everything well and roast until it starts releasing the oil.
- After gravy starts releasing the oil, add prepared Besan Balls into the pan and mix well.
- After 1 minute, add 1/2 glass of water and mix well.
- Now add crushed Kasuri methi, mix well, close the lid, and cook for 6-8 minutes.
- After 8 minutes, check the gravy and turn off the flame.
- Now your Besan Ki Sabji is completely ready, and you can enjoy it.
