Ingredients of Bedmi Puri Recipe

  • Urad Dal(Black Gram) – 1 cup 
  • Cumin – 1 tbsp 
  • Fennel – 1 tbsp 
  • Black pepper – 15 Pcs
  • Dry Red chilli – 5 pcs
  • Cloves – 2 pcs
  • Cardamom – 1 pcs
  • Asafoetida – 1/4 tsp 
  • Salt – 1 tsp 
  • Coriander Powder – 1 tbsp 
  • Black salt – 1/2 tsp

Materials

  • 1 cup Urad Dal(Black Gram) 
  • 1 tbsp Cumin 
  • 1 tbsp Fennel 
  • 15 pcs Black pepper
  • 5 pcs Dry Red chilli 
  • 2 pcs Cloves 
  • 1 pcs Cardamom 
  • 1/4 tsp Asafoetida 
  • 1 tsp Salt 
  • 1 tbsp Coriander Powder 
  • 1/2 tsp Black salt 

Instructions

  • To make Bedmi Puri, first take 1 cup of washed & dry Urad Dal/Black gram.
  • Now, place a pan on medium flame and add Urad dal into it roast well.
  • After 1-2 minutes, add 1 tbsp of cumin seeds, 1 tbsp of fennel seeds, 15 peppercorns, one green cardamom, two cloves, and mix well and roast on low, medium flame.
  • After some time, add five red chillies, mix well, and roast for 3-4 minutes.
  • After 3-4 minutes, turn off the flame and let it cool.
  • After the mix has cooled, take a grinding jar and add dal mix into it.
  • Now add 1/4 tsp of asafoetida, 1 tsp of salt, 1 tbsp of coriander powder, 1/2 tsp of black salt, grind everything well, and make a fine powder.
  • Now your Instant Kachori puri mix is ready, and you can store it for six months in the fridge or 1-2 months at room temperature.
  • Now, take a bowl and add 1 cup of Wheat flour.
  • Now add 2 tbsp of semolina, 1/2 cup of Instant Dal Mix, and mix well.
  • Now your Instant puri mix is ready.
  • Now, take a bowl and add 1/2 cup of Atta Mix, 1 tbsp of oil, and mix well.
  • Now, little by little, add water and prepare a semi-soft dough.
  • Now coat the dough with oil and let it rest for 10-15 minutes.
  • After 15 minutes, check the dough and knead one more time.
  • Now, prepare a small round dough like Peda with the dough.
  • Now, take a small Peda and roll it with the help of a roller pin.
  • Now, place a pan on flame and add oil for deep fry and heat well.
  • After the hot oil, add rolled Bedmi Puri into the pan and fry until golden and crisp.
  • After Bedmi Puri turns golden and crisp, transfer it to a plate and fry the next Puri.
  • Now your Bedmi Puri is completely ready, and you can enjoy it.

Bedmi Puri Recipe – Step By Step

1 – To make Bedmi Puri, first take 1 cup of washed & dry Urad Dal/Black gram.

7 – Now add 1/4 tsp of asafoetida, 1 tsp of salt, 1 tbsp of coriander powder, 1/2 tsp of black salt, grind everything well, and make a fine powder.

8 – Now your Instant Kachori puri mix is ready, and you can store it for six months in the fridge or 1-2 months at room temperature.
9 – Now, take a bowl and add 1 cup of Wheat flour.

10 – Now add 2 tbsp of semolina, 1/2 cup of Instant Dal Mix, and mix well.

12 – Now, take a bowl and add 1/2 cup of Atta Mix, 1 tbsp of oil, and mix well.
