- Water – 1 cup
- Clarified Butter – 4 tbsp
- Wheat flour – 1/2 cup
- Semolina – 4 tbsp
- Ripe Banana – 3
- Cardamom Powder – 1/2 tsp
- Saffron water
- Clarified Butter – 1 tsp
- Poppy Seed
- Melon seeds
- Pistachio
Instructions
- To make the unique and most tasty Banana Atta Modak, place a pan on flame, add 1 cup of crushed jaggery, 1 cup of water, and melt the jaggery.
- After the jaggery melts and turns sticky, turn off the flame and keep it aside.
- Next step: place a pan on flame, add flour tablespoons of ghee, and heat well.
- Next step: add 1/2 cup of wheat flour and cook on a low-medium flame.
- Next step: add four tablespoons of semolina, mix well, and cook.
- Next step: take three bananas, peel and chop them, and make a fine paste with the help of a grinding jar.
- After the wheat flour and semolina turn aromatic, add the prepared banana paste and mix well.
- When the mix becomes grainy, add jaggery water, mix well, and cook.
- Next step: add 1/2 teaspoon of cardamom powder and saffron water and mix well.
- Next step: add a teaspoon of ghee and mix well.
- After the mix starts leaving the pan, turn off the flame and transfer the mixture to a plate.
