Traditional Anarsa Recipe | How to make Anarsa at Home | Anarsa Sweet Recipe
Materials
- Rice flour – 1 cup
- Wheat flour – 1/4 cup
- Cardamom Powder – 1/2 tsp
- Water – 1.5 cup
- Sugar – 6 tbsp
- Clarified Butter – 2 to 3 tbsp
- Sesame seeds – 1/4 cup
- Oil
Instructions
- To make the perfect & Crispy Anarsa, take a bowl, and add 1 cup of rice flour to it.
- Next step – add 1/4 cup of wheat flour, 1/2 tsp of cardamom powder and mix everything well.
- Next step – place a pan on flame, add 1.5 cups of water, and boil well.
- After the water starts boiling, add 6 tbsp of sugar and mix well.
- After the sugar melts, little by little, add flour-mix and mix well on low flame.
- Next step – add 2-3 tbsp of ghee, mix well, and turn off the flame.
- After the mix turns a little cool, knead well and add water as required to prepare a soft dough.
- Next step – take a portion of dough, prepare a roll, and cut it into small pieces.
- Next step – take a piece and prepare a small ball.
- Next step – place the prepared ball on sesame seeds, press & flatter it, and coat it on all sides with sesame seeds.
- Next step – prepare the Anarsa with the remaining dough(you can give any type of shape to your Anarsa).
- Next step – place a pan on flame, add oil for frying and heat well.
- After the oil is hot, add prepared Anarsa into the oil and fry well on medium flame.
- After the Anarsa turns golden & crispy on both sides, transfer them to a plate and fry the next batch.
- Now your perfect Anarsa is completely ready, and you can enjoy them.
