Easy Amla Murabba Recipe | How to make Amla Murabba | Gooseberry Murabba Recipe
Materials
- Indian Gooseberry – 600 gram
- Sugar Candy/Mishri – 600 gram
- Water – 2 to 3 tbsp
- Crushed Cardamom – 4
- Cinnamon Stick – 1 inch
- Dried Ginger Powder – 1/2 tsp
- Black Salt – 1/2 tsp
Instructions
- To make the Perfect Amla Murabba, take 600 grams of Big Size Amla/Gooseberry, rinse & wipe the all Amla.
- Next step – place a pan on flame, add water and boil well.
- After the water boils, add Amla and cook on medium flame for 5-6 minutes.
- After 5-6 minutes, check the Amla; If it feels a little soft, turn off the flame and transfer the Amla to a strainer.
- Next step – wipe the water from all the Amla with the help of tissue paper.
- Next step – one by one, prick all Amla with the help of a fork.
- Next step – take 600 grams of Mishri and crush it with the help of a roller.
- Next step – add crushed Mishri into a grinding jar, and make a coarse powder.
- Next step – take a wide pan and add Mishri powder.
- Next step – add all Amla into Mishri Powder and gently mix.
- Next step – place the pan on low flame, and add 3-4 tbsp of water.
- Next step – close the lid and cook on low flame for 30-35 minutes(Gently stir in between).
- After 30 minutes, a little thick, add four crushed cardamoms, 1 inch of cinnamon stick, 1/2 tsp of dry ginger powder, 1/2 tsp of black salt, and gently mix well.
- After 5 minutes, turn off the flame and let your Amla murabba cool.
- Now your Perfect Amla Murabba is completely ready, and you can enjoy it.
