Materials
- Raw Potato – 2 pcs
- Curd – 1 cup
- Rava / Sooji – 1 cup
- Salt as per Taste
- Oil – 1 tsp
- Fruit Salt – 1 tsp
- Oil – 1 tbsp
- Mustard Seeds – 1 tsp
- Asafoetida – 1 pinch
- Kadhipatta
- Salt as per Taste
- Sugar Splited Green Chilli – 6 pcs
- Lemon Juice
Instructions
- To make the perfect Aloo Suji Dhokla, take two raw potatoes and roughly cut them.
- Now take a greased jar, add chopped potatoes, and 1 cup of curd, and make a fine paste.
- Take a bowl, add potato paste, 1 cup of rava or sooji, and prepare a lump-free paste.
- Now cover the batter and let it rest for 5 minutes.
- After 5 minutes, check the batter, add salt as per taste, 1 teaspoon of oil, and mix well.
- Now add 1 teaspoon of Eno fruit salt and a little water and gently mix.
- Now take a greased cake tin and transfer the batter into it.
- Now place a Kadhai on the flame, add water, and boil with a closed lid.
- After the water starts boiling, place a stand into the Kadhai and place the cake tin on the stand.
- Now close the lid and cook for 15-20 minutes with the closed lid.
- After 15-20 minutes, check the dhokla and take it out on a platform.
- Now place a pan on the flame, add 1 tablespoon of oil, and heat well.
- After the hot oil, add 1 tsp of mustard seeds, 2 pinches of asafoetida, curry leaves, 1/4 cup of water, salt as per taste, a little sugar, split green chillies, and lemon juice.
- After a boil, turn off the flame and let the mixture cool a little.
- Now cut the dhokla and take it out onto a plate.
- Now pour the prepared tempering on the dhokla.
