Materials
- Milk Cream – 5 tbsp
- Sugar Powder – 4 tbsp
- Milk Powder – 7 tbsp
- Desiccated Coconut – 2 tbsp
- Chopped Almonds
- Pistachio
- Saffron Strands
- Cardamom Powder
- Water – 1/2 cup
- Cardamom – 2 pcs
- Bread Slice – 8 pcs
- Milk – 1/2 cup
- Sugar Powder – 1 tbsp
- Saffron Milk
Instructions
- In a bowl, add 4-5 tablespoons of milk cream (malai) and 4 tablespoons of powdered sugar.
- Add 2 tablespoons of desiccated coconut, chopped almonds, chopped pistachios, saffron strands, and cardamom powder. Mix everything well to prepare the stuffing.
- Place a pan on medium flame, add 1 cup of sugar, ½ cup of water, and 2-3 cardamoms. Cook until the sugar melts and forms a slightly sticky syrup, then turn off the flame and set it aside.
- Take 8 bread slices and cut them into round shapes using a bowl or cutter.
- Take one bread slice, place a small portion of the prepared stuffing in the center, then place another slice on top.
- Apply water around the edges and press gently to seal them properly.
- Repeat the process to prepare the remaining stuffed bread rounds.
- Heat oil in a pan for frying. Once hot, add the prepared Shahi Tukda rounds and fry until golden and crispy.
- Transfer the fried pieces to a plate and fry the remaining batches.
- Dip each fried bread into the sugar syrup for 30-40 seconds, then remove and set aside.
- In the prepared stuffing mixture, add 1 cup of milk, 1 tablespoon of powdered sugar, saffron milk, and chopped dry fruits. Mix well to make a thick Rabri-like topping.
- To serve, spread a layer of the Rabri on a plate, place the soaked Shahi Tukda pieces on top, and garnish with more dry fruits.
