Materials
- Raw Peanut – 1 cup
- Jaggery – 1 cup
- Water – 1 tbsp
- Ghee
- Baking Soda – 2 pinch
Instructions
- To make the amazing peanut chikki, place a kadhai on the flame, add 1 cup of peanuts, and roast well.
- After the peanuts start cracking, turn off the flame and transfer the peanuts into a plate.
- After the peanuts turn a little cool, peel the skin with the help of a cloth.
- Now break the peanuts into two pieces with the help of a bowl.
- Now place a kadhai on the flame, add crushed jaggery, 1 tbsp of water, and melt the jaggery.
- Now add 1 tbsp of ghee and mix well.
- After the jaggery melts and bubbles appear, take a small portion of melted jaggery and add it to water.
- After a few seconds, check the jaggery drop. If it turns hard, this means the jaggery syrup is completely ready to make the Peanut Chikki.
- Now add 2 pinches of baking soda and mix well.
- Now turn off the flame, add peanuts, and mix well.
- Now transfer the chikki mix into greased butter paper and spread well.
- Now place another butter paper on top of the chikki and roll the chikki with the help of a roller pin.
- Now cut the chikki into small pieces and let it cool for some time.
- Now your perfect peanut chikki is completely ready, and you can enjoy it.
