Materials
- Ghee – 4 tbsp
- All Purpose Flour – 1 cup
- Milk Powder – 1/4 cup
- Cashew Powder – 1/4 cup
- Sugar – 1.5 cup
- Water – 750 ml
- Rose Essence
Instructions
- To make the amazing White Maida Burfi, place a kadhai on flame, add 4 tbsp. of ghee, and heat well.
- After the ghee melts, add 1 cup of all-purpose flour and roast a little.
- After roasting a little, turn off the flame, add 1/4 cup of milk powder, and mix well.
- After mixing well, add 1/4 cup of cashew powder and cook well.
- Now transfer the barfi mix onto a plate and let it cool down.
- Now add 1.5 cups of sugar and 750 ml of water into the kadhai and prepare a near-to-one string consistency sticky syrup.
- After the syrup turns sticky, on low flame, add the prepared barfi mixture, mix well, and cook.
- After the mix starts leaving the pan, add rose essence and mix well.
- Now turn off the flame and transfer the barfi mix into a greased tray.
- Now spread the barfi and let it set for 1/2 hour.
- After 1/2 hour, garnish the barfi with a silver leaf and cut it into small pieces.
- Now your perfect White Maida Burfi is completely ready, and you can enjoy it.
