Materials
- Oil – 2 tbsp
- Chopped Onion – 2 pcs
- Garlic
- Ginger – 1 inch
- Green Chilli – 2 Pcs
- Tomato – 2 pcs
- Salt – 1 tsp
- Cashew – 9 pcs
- Coriander Leaves
- Bay Leaf – 2 pcs
- Clove – 3 pcs
- Black Pepper – 12 pcs
- Cinnamon – 1 stick
- Cardamom – 2 pcs
- Black Cardamom – 1 pcs
- Fennel Seeds – 1 tsp
- Cumin – 1 tbsp
- Coriander – 1 tbsp
- Kasoori Methi – 1 tbsp
- Ghee – 1 tbsp
- Oil – 2 tsp
- Cumin – 1/4 tsp
- Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder – 2 tsp
- Hot Water – 1.5 cup
- Green Pea – 1/2 cup
- Paneer – 250 gm
- Salt as per Taste
- Chopped Coriander Leaves
- Splitted Green Chilli
Instructions
- To make the amazing Matar Paneer Ki Sabji, place a kadhai on flame, add 2 tablespoons of oil, and heat well.
- After the oil is hot, add roughly chopped onion and roast until pink.
- After two minutes, add garlic cloves, 1 inch of ginger, and two red chillies and roast for a minute.
- After a minute, add 2 chopped tomatoes, salt as per taste, and cook well.
- Now add 8-10 cashews and coriander stems, mix, and roast well with a closed lid.
- Now place another pan on flame, add 2 bay leaves, 2-3 cloves, 12 peppercorns, 1 cinnamon stick, 2 black cardamoms, 1 black cardamom, 1 tsp of fennel seeds, 1 tsp of cumin seeds, and 1 tbsp of coriander seeds, and roast a little.
- After a minute, add 1 tablespoon of Kasoori methi, mix well, and turn off the flame.
- Now add the masala into the grinding jar and make a coarse powder.
- Now check the gravy mix and turn off the flame.
- After the mix cools, add it into a grinding jar and make a fine paste.
- Now place a kadhai on flame, add 1 tbsp of ghee, and heat well.
- After the ghee is hot, add 1/4 tsp of cumin seeds and 2 tsp of Kashmiri red chili powder and mix well.
- Now add prepared gravy puree and 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder and cook on low medium flame.
- After the gravy releases the oil, add the prepared masala powder and mix everything well.
- Now add hot water as required, mix well, and cook.
- Now add 1/2 cup of boiled green peas and mix well.
- Now add paneer pieces, mix well, and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- After 2-3 minutes, turn off the flame and garnish it with chopped coriander and split green chillies.
