Materials

  • Sabu Dana – 1 cup
  • Oil – 1 tbsp
  • Chopped Garlic – 6 cloves
  • Chopped Ginger – 1/2 inch
  • Chopped Carrot – 1 pcs
  • Chopped Cabbage
  • Chopped French Beans
  • Chopped Spring Onion
  • Salt – 1 tsp
  • Black pepper – 1/2 tsp
  • Soya Sauce – 2 tsp
  • Red Chilli Sauce
  • White Vinegar – 1/2 tsp
  • Crushed Peanuts – 1/2 tsp

Instructions

  • To make the perfect Sabudana Momos, take one cup of Sabudana (sago), wash well, and soak it in hot water for 2 hours.
  • Now place a Kadhai on flame, add 1 tablespoon of oil, and heat well.
  • After the hot oil, grated garlic, grated ginger, and roast a little.
  • Now add chopped carrot, chopped cabbage, chopped French beans, and chopped spring onion greens and roast for 2-3 minutes.
  • After some time, add salt as per taste, 1/2 tsp of black pepper powder, 2 tsp of soy sauce, red chili sauce, 1/2 tsp of white vinegar, and 2 tbsp of crushed roasted peanuts, and mix everything well.
  • After cooking well, turn off the flame and keep it aside.
  • After 2-3 hours, check the Sabudana and mash with your hands.
  • Now add 1 teaspoon of salt and mix well.
  • Now take a small portion of the mix, spread it, and place a small portion of stuffing in it.
  • Now close it from all sides and prepare a ball.
  • Now, one by one, prepare the dumplings with the remaining Sabudana mix and stuffing.
  • Now place a Kadhai on flame, add water, and boil.
  • Now take a steamer plate, grease it, and place the Momos in it.
  • Now place the steamer plate in the Kadhai, close the lid, and stem for 12-14 minutes.
  • After 12–14 minutes, remove the lid and check the Momos.
  • Now your perfect Sabudana Momos are completely ready, and you can enjoy them.
