Materials
- Toor Dal – 1 cup
- Masoor Dal – 1/3 cup
- Moong Dal – 1/4 cup
- Salt as per Taste
- Turmeric – 1 pinch
- Ghee – 1 tsp
- Bay Leaf – 1 pcs
- Clove – 2 pcs
- Green Cardamom – 2 pcs
- Ginger & Garlic Paste – 1 tsp
- Ghee – 1 tbsp
- Oil – 1 tsp
- Asafoetida – 1/2 tsp
- Coriander Coarse Powder – 1 tsp
- Chopped Onion – 2 pcs
- Chopped Green Chilli – 3 pcs
- Chopped Garlic – 1 tsp
- Chopped Ginger – 1/2 tsp
- Tomato – 2 pcs
- Salt as per Taste
- Turmeric – 1/4 tsp
- Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder – 1 tsp
- Coriander Powder – 1 tbsp
- Cumin – 1/2 tsp
- Kasuri Methi – 1/2 tsp
- Ghee – 1 tbsp
- Cumin

Instructions
- To make the perfect Hotel Style Dal Tadka, take a bowl, 1 cup of Toor Dal, 1/3 cup of Masoor Dal, and 1/4 cup of Moong Dal and wash well with water.
- Now soak the dal for 10 minutes.
- Now place a cooker on flame, add soaked Dal, water, salt as per taste, 1 pinch of turmeric powder, 1 tsp of ghee, 1 bay leaf, 2 cloves, 2 green cardamoms, and 1 tbsp of ginger garlic paste, and mix well.
- Now apply the ghee on the whistle, close the lid, and cook on high flame until a whistle.
- After a whistle, cook on low flame until one more whistle.
- After the second whistle, turn off the flame and remove the lid.
- Now place a Kadhai on flame, add 1 teaspoon of ghee, and heat well.
- Now add 1 tsp of cumin seeds, 1/2 tsp of asafoetida, and 1 tsp of coriander coarse powder, and mix well.
- Now add 2 pieces of chopped onion and roast on high flame until golden.
- Now add chopped green chillies, 1 tsp. of chopped garlic, and roast well.
- Now add 2 pieces of tomatoes, salt as per taste, and mix well.
- Now add 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder, 1 tsp of Kashmiri red chili powder, and cook for a minute.
- After a minute, add 1 tbsp of coriander powder, 1/2 tsp of cumin powder, and 1/2 tsp of kasoori methi, and cook well.
- Now add hot water and cook well until it releases the oil.
- Now add cooked dal and mix well (add hot water if required).
- Now add lime juice, mix well, and cook for 5 minutes.
- Now place a tempering pan on flame, add 1 tablespoon of ghee, and heat well.
- After the hot ghee, add cumin seeds, ginger juilans, 1 tsp of garlic, 2 pcs of dry red chillies, and chopped coriander and mix well.
- Now turn off the flame, add 1 tsp. of red chili powder, and pour the prepared tempering on the Dal.
- Now close the lid and leave it for a minute.
- Now your perfect hotel-style Dal is completely ready, and you can enjoy it.
