Materials
- Puffed Rice – 200 Grams
- Coriander Seed – 2 tbsp
- Aniseed (Fennel Seeds) – 1 tbsp
- Cumin Seed – 1 tbsp
- Asafoetida – 1/4 tsp
- Salt – 1 tsp
- Black Salt – 1 tsp
- Grated Ginger – 2 tbsp
- Garlic – 1/2 cup
- Green chilli – 4 piece
- Oil – 4 tbsp
- Peanut – 1 cup
- Mustard – 1 tbsp
- Roasted gram Dal – 1 cup
- Kashmiri Red Chili Powder – 2 tsp
- Turmeric Powder – 1/2 tsp
- Special Onion garlic masala – 4 tbsp
- Salt as per Taste
- Sugar Powder-2 tbsp
- Chopped Onion
- Chopped Green Chili
- Chopped Coriander
- Sev Namkeen
Instructions
- To make the perfect Masala Murmura Namkeen/Kolhapur Bhadang, take 200 grams of Murmura/Puffed Rice.
- Next step – place a kadhai on medium flame, add Murmura, and roast on medium flame until crispy and stir continually.
- After 1 to 1.5 minutes, turn off the flame and transfer the Murmura to a Plate.
- Next step – take a grinding jar, add 2 tbsp of coriander seeds, 1 tbsp of aniseeds, 1 tbsp of cumin seed,1/4 tsp of asafoetida, 1 tsp of salt, 1 tsp of black salt, 2 tbsp of grated ginger, 1/2 cup of garlic.
- Next step – grind everything on the pulse and make a coarse paste.
- Next step – take 4 green chillies and cut them into two pieces.
- Next step – place a kadhai on flame, add 4 tbsp of oil, and heat well.
- After the oil is hot, add 1 cup of peanuts, roast well on low flame, and stir continuously.
- After the peanuts turn golden, transfer them to a plate.
- Next step – add 1 tbsp of mustard seeds into hot oil and let it crankle.
- Next step – add prepared Masala Paste and roast well for 1 minute.
- After 1 minute, add chopped chillies, and curry leaves and roast well until green chilli turn crispy.
- After everything turns crispy, add 1 cup of roasted gram dal and roast well.
- After 1 minute, add 2 tsp of red chilli powder, 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder, and fried peanuts, and mix everything well.
- Next step – add 4 tbsp of special Onion Garlic masala and mix well.
- Next step – add salt as per taste, and mix well.
- After 1 minute, turn off the flame, add crispy Murmura and gently mix well with Masala.
- Next step – transfer the Murmura Namkeen to a Big Plate.
- Next step – add 2 tbsp of Sugar Powder(Khand) and mix well.
