Materials
- Ghee – 2 tbsp
- Cumin Seed – 1 tsp
- Chopped Ginger – 1 tsp
- Chopped Green Chili – 1tsp
- Curry Leaves
- Chopped Onion – 2
- Salt Red chilly powder -1/2 tsp
- Turmeric – 1/4 tsp
- Black Pepper Powder – 1.2 tsp
- Cooked Rice – 1.5 cup
- Chopped Coriander
Instructions
- To make the perfect Onion Rice, place a pan on flame, add 2 tbsp of ghee, and heat well.
- After the ghee melts, add 1 tsp of cumin seeds, 1 tsp of chopped ginger, 1 tsp of finely chopped green chilli, and saute well on low flame.
- Next step – add some curry leaves & two chopped onions and roast well until golden.
- After 1 minute, add salt as per taste, 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder, 1/2 tsp of black pepper powder, and mix everything well.
- After 1 minute, add 1.5 cups of cooked rice and mix well on low flame.
- After 1 minute, turn off the flame and garnish it with chopped coriander.
- Now your perfect Onion Rice is completely ready, and you can enjoy it.
