Paneer Biryani Recipe | How to make Paneer Biryani at Home | Paneer Biriyani Recipe
Materials
- Basmati Rice – 400 grams
- Oil – 1 tsp
- Bay leaf – 1
- Cardamom – 3 to 4
- Split Green Chilli – 2
- Salt – 1 tsp
- Fresh Soft Cheese – 300 grams
- Salt as per Taste
- Red Chili Powder
- Turmeric Powder
- Clarified Butter/Ghee – 2 tbsp
- Oil – 1 tbsp
- Cumin seeds – 1/2 tsp
- Bay Leaf (Tej Patta)
- Cinnamon Stick (Dalchini)
- Star Anise/Chakraphool
- Cardamom
- Black Peppercorns/Kali Mirch
- Chopped Onion – 1
- Ginger & Garlic Paste
- Coriander Powder – 1 tbsp
- Cumin Powder – 1/2 tsp
- Red Chili Powder – 1 tsp
- Garam Masala – 3/4 tsp
- Turmeric Powder – 1/2 tsp
- Curd – 4 tbsp
- Tomato Puree – 4 tbsp
- Split Green Chilli – 2
- Kasoori Methi – 1 tsp
- Salt as per Taste
- Water – 1 cup
- Chopped Coriander
- Mint Leaves/Pudina
- Fried Onion
Instructions
- To make Perfect Paneer Biryani take 400 grams of Basmati Rice.
- Now, soak the rice in the water for 20-25 minutes.
- Now, place a pan on flame and add 1 liter of water, and boil.
- After the water starts boiling, add 1 tsp of oil, one bay leaf, 3-4 green cardamom, two split green chillies, 1 tsp of salt.
- Now remove the excess water from soaked rice, add soaked rice into boiling water, and cook rice on medium flame until 75%.
- While cooking the rice, take 300 grams of Paneer Cubes.
- Now sprinkle salt, red chilli powder turmeric powder, and let it marinate, and do not mix.
- After the rice is cooked 75%, turn off the flame, strain the water, and do not throw the water.
- Now place a pan on flame and add 2 tbsp of ghee, 1 tsp of oil, and heat well.
- After ghee melts, add 1/2 tsp of cumin seeds, one bay leaf, cinnamon stick, one-star anise, cardamom, 6-7 peppercorns, four cloves, 3-4 green cardamom.
- Now add one chopped Onion and Saute everything well on low flame for 2 minutes.
- Now add 1 tbsp of ginger garlic paste, mix well, and roast.
- Now add 1 tsp of coriander powder, 1/2 tsp of cumin powder, 1 tsp of red chilli powder, 3/4 tsp of Garam Masala, 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder, and mix well.
- Now add 4 tbsp of fresh curd and mix well and cook.
- Now add 4 tbsp of tomato puree and mix well.
- Now add two slits of green chilli Kasuri methi, salt as per taste, and mix well.
- After Masala starts releasing the oil, add 1 cup of water and boil on medium flame.
- After a boil, turn off the flame.
- Now place Kadhai on low flame and add prepared Masala Gravy into it.
- Now add finely chopped coriander and fresh mint and mix well.
- Now add marinated Paneer and mix well gently.
- Now add cooked rice and make a layer.
- Now add 2-3 tbsp of leftover rice water.
- Now add chopped coriander, mint leaves, 1 tbsp of gee and saffron milk, and fried Onion, slit green chilli.
- Now, cover the lid with the dough-like following image.
- Now, close the lid tightly and cook for 2 minutes on a high flame.
- After 2 minutes, place a Tawa on flame.
- Now, place the pan on Tawa and cook for 15-18 minutes on low flame.
- Now, place the pan on Tawa and cook for 15-18 minutes on low flame.
- Now turn off the flame and do not remove the lid for 10 minutes.
- After 10 minutes, remove the lid slowly, and Paneer Biryani is ready to serve.
- Now your Paneer Biryani is completely ready, and you can enjoy it with Raita.
