Materials
- Sevai/Vermecelli- 1 cup
- Sooji/Semolina – 1 cup
- Finely Chopped Capsicum – 2 tbsp
- Finely Chopped Onion – 1
- Finely Chopped Green Chilli – 3
- Finely Chopped Red Capsicum – 2 tbsp
- Finely Chopped Carrot- 2
- Salt – 1 tsp
- Red Chilli Powder – 1/2 tsp
- Red Chilli Flakes – 1 tsp
- Noodle Masala – 1 pack
- Curd – 1/2 cup
- Baking Soda – 2 pinch
- Lemon Juice – 1 tsp
- Finely Chopped Coriander
Instructions
- To make this amazing Sevai Suji Breakfast, first take a pan on flame, add 1 tbsp of oil, and heat well.
- Now add 1 cup of Sevai/Vermerelli and roast on medium flame until golden.
- After semolina turns a little golden, add 1 cup of semolina, mix well, and roast for 2 minutes.
- After 2 minutes, turn off the flame and transfer the suji-Sevai mix into a bowl and let it cool.
- Now, into the suji-Sevai mix, add 2 tbsp of finely chopped capsicum, one finely chopped onion, two finely chopped green chilli, 2 tbsp of red capsicum, 2 of chopped carrot.
- Now add 1 tsp of salt, 1/2 tsp of red chilli powder, 1 tsp of red chilli flakes, 1 tbsp of noodle masala.
- Now add 1/2 cup of curd, two pinches of baking soda, 1 tsp of lemon juice, finely chopped coriander, and mix well.
- Now, little by little, add water as required and make a prepared thick batter.
- Now, let it rest for 5 minutes.
- Now place an Appe Pan on flame and grease it with oil.
- After 5 minutes, check the batter and prepare round balls with batter.
- Now place prepared Balls into Appe Mould and grease them with oil.
- Now, close the lid and cook for 2 minutes.
- After 2 minutes, check the Appe, turn them to another side, and roast well for 2 minutes.
- After 2 minutes, take out all Appe on a plate and roast the next batch.
- If you do not have Appe Pan, place a Tadka Pan on flame and grease it with oil.
- Now prepare a pattie with batter, place it into a Tadka pan, and roast well for 2 minutes.
- After 2 minutes, flip the pattie to another side and roast well.
- Now, take out the pattie to a plate and roast the next batch.
