Materials
- 2 cup Maida/All purpose flour
- 1/4 cup Rava/semolina
- 1 tsp Ajwain/caraway seeds
- Salt – as per required
- Crushed Pepper – as per required (optional)
- 1/2 cup Cooking oil
- Warm Water – as per required
- Oil – for deep fry
Instructions
- To make crispy Kaju Namakpara, first take a wide bowl and add 2 cups of all-purpose flour.
- Now add 1/4 cup of semolina, 1 tsp of caraway seeds, salt as per taste, crushed pepper powder.
- Now mix everything well.
- Now, little by little, add 1/2 cup of oil and mix well.
- Now, little by little, add warm water, mix well, and make a semi-soft dough.
- Now, cover the dough and let it rest for 15 minutes.
- After 15 minutes, check the dough and knead one more time.
- Now, divide the dough into four parts and prepare four rounds of dough.
- Now, take one part of the dough and roll it with the help of a roller pin(do not roll too thick or too thin).
- Now, cut it into a half-moon shape with the help of a bottle cap.
- Now, prepare all Kaju Namakpara with the remaining dough.
- Now, place a pan on flame and heat well.
- After the oil is hot, turn the flame to low, and one by one, add Kaju Namakpara into the pan and fry until golden crispy.
- After Namakpara turns golden, transfer them to a plate and fry the next batch.
- Now your crispy Namakpara is completely ready, and you can enjoy them.
