Aloo Paratha Recipe | How to make Aloo Paratha at Home | Potato Paratha Recipe
Materials
- 2 cups Wheat Flour
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- Water as required
- 4 Boiled Potato
- 1 tsp Cumin Powder
- 1 tsp Coriander Powder
- 1 tsp Red chilli powder
- 1/4 tsp Garam Masala
- 1 tsp Dry Mango Powder
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Asafoetida
- 1 tsp Grated Ginger
- Finely chopped coriander
- All Purpose flour For dustng
- Ghee/Oil
Instructions
- To make Aloo Paratha, first take a wide bowl and add 2 cups of wheat flour.
- Now add 1/2 tsp of salt as mix well.
- Now, little by little, add water as required; Mess & knead well and prepare a soft dough.
- Now add 2 tbsp of oil and knead well again.
- Now cover the dough with a wet cloth, keep the dough aside and let it rest for 15 minutes.
- Now, take four boiled & peeled potatoes and crush them into a bowl.
- Now mess the potato well with the help of a masher.
- Now, into a bowl, add 1 tsp of jeera powder, 1 tsp of coriander powder, 1 tsp of red chilli powder, 1/4 tsp of Garam masala, 1 tsp of dry mango powder, 1 tsp of salt, 1/4 tsp of asafoetida.
- Now add 1 tsp of grated ginger, finely chopped coriander, and mix everything well.
- After 15 minutes, check the dough and knead it well again.
- Now pinch a big size dough, prepare a round ball, and roll it into all-purpose flour.
- Now, spread the dough and prepare a bowl shape.
- Now fill 1 tbsp of potato mix into it.
- Now press the potato mix and close with dough on all sides and remove the excess dough.
- Now again, dust the dough with all-purpose flour.
- Now roll it with the help of a roller pin and prepare paratha, and do not pressure while rolling. Roll in One direction.
- Now place a Tawa on flame and heat well.
- Now, put the prepared paratha on Tawa and cook on medium flame FOR 1 to 1.5 minutes (do not add oil/ghee before cooking the paratha).
- After 1.5 minutes, flip the paratha and cook on another side.
- Now add ghee/ oil and cook on the other side for 1 minute.
- After 1 minute, turn it to another side and add oil/ghee and cook well on medium flame on both sides.
- Now, take out the paratha on a plate and cook the second paratha.
- Now your Testy Aloo Paratha is ready, and you can enjoy them.
