Materials
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 1 tsp Mustard Seeds
- 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
- 2 pinch Asafoetida
- 1 tbsp Chana Dal
- 1 tsp Urad Dal
- Curry Leaves
- 2 Dry Red Chilli
- 2 Chopped Green Chilles
- 1 tsp Grated Ginger
- 2 Chopped Onions
- 1 Finely Chopped Tomato
- Salt as per taste
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 2 cup Water
- 2 tbsp Gram Flour
- 1 Boiled Mashed Potato
- Finely Chopped Coriander
- 1 tsp Lemon Juice
Instructions
- To make Special Bombay Chutney, first place a pan on medium flame and add2 tbsp of oil to it and heat.
- After the oil is heated, add 1 tsp of mustard seeds, 1 tsp of cumin seeds, two pinch asafoetida, 1 tsp of chana dal, 1 tsp of white urad dal and saute on medium flame.
- Now add curry leaves, two dry red chillies and saute well.
- Now add two chopped green chilli, 1 tsp of grated ginger and roast well.
- After 1 minute, add one chopped onion and saute until translucent.
- After the Onion turns translucent, add one chopped tomato, 1 tsp of salt, 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder and mix well and cook until soft.
- After the tomatoes cooked well, add 2 cups of water and mix well.
- Now, close the lid and cook for 8-10 minutes.
- Now, take a small bowl and add 2 tbsp of gram flour to it.
- Now, add 1/4 cup of water into the bowl and mix well and make a slurry.
- After 8-10 Minutes, check our Chutney, add gram flour slurry into Chutney, mix well, and stir continuously.
- Now cook it for 2-3 minutes.
- After 1 minute, add one crushed boiled potato, mix well, and cook for 2 minutes.
- After 2 minutes, add finely chopped coriander and turn off the flame.
- Now add 1 tsp of lemon juice and mix well.
- Now your Special Bombay chutney is entirely ready, and you can enjoy it.
