- Samak Rice – 1 cup
- Sago – 1/4 cup
- Pepper powder – 1 tsp
- Rock salt – 1 tsp
- Peanut Powder
- Green chilli – 2-3
- Grated ginger – 1 tsp
- Cumin powder – 1/2 tsp
- Boiled potato – 2 grated
- Chopped coriander
- Ghee
For Vrat Raita
- Foxnut – 1 cup
- Curd – 1 cup
- Pepper powder – 1/4 tsp
- Cumin powder – 1/4 tsp
- Green chilli
- Rock salt
- Mint powder
Instructions
- To make the amazing Instant Vrat Ka Khana, take a grinding jar, add 1 cup of Samak rice & 1/4 cup of Sago(Sabudana), and make a fine powder.
- Next step – take a bowl, add prepared powder, 1 tsp of pepper powder, 1 tsp of rock salt, 1 tbsp of peanuts powder, and mix everything well (You can store this powder for one month in an air-tight jar).
- Next step – take a bowl, add 1 cup of prepared premix, 2-3 chopped green chilli, 1 tsp of grated ginger, 1/2 tsp of cumin powder, and 1 tsp of peanuts powder.
- Next step – add two boiled potatoes, chopped coriander, and water in batches and prepare a thick batter.
- Next step – cover the batter and let it rest for 5 minutes.
- Next step – place a pan on flame, add 1 cup foxnut, and roast for 1-2 minutes.
- After 1-2 minutes, turn off the flame and let it cool.
- Next step – take a bowl, add 1 cup of whisked curd, 1/4 tsp of pepper powder, 1/4 tsp of cumin powder, one chopped green chilli, rock salt per taste, and chopped coriander.
- Next step – add roasted foxnut, mint powder (optional) and mix everything well.
- Next step – keep the Raita in the fridge and let it cool.11 – Next step – place a pan on flame, grease it with ghee and heat well.
- Next step – add prepared batter, spread well, and cook on low medium flame with a closed lid.
- After 1 minute, apply ghee on both chillas and roast on both sides until golden.
