Materials
- 250 grams Paneer
- Salt
- 1/2 tsp Red Chilli Powder
- 1/4 tsp Garam Masala
- 2 pinch Turmeric Powder
- 2 tbsp Ghee
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 1 tbsp Ghee
- 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
- 1 Bay Leaf
- 2 Cinamon Sticks
- 3 pods Crushed Cardamom
- 5 Cloves
- 6 Pepper Corns
- 1 tsp Coriander Seeds
- 2 Dry Red Chillies
- 3 Finely Chopped Onion
- 6 Finely Chopped Garlic
- 3 Slit Green Chillies
- 1 tbsp Coriander Powder
- 1 tbsp Kashmiri Lal Mirch Powder
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1 tsp Cumin Powder
- 2 tbsp Gram Flour/Besan –
- 3 Grated Tomato
- Salt as per taste
- 1/2 cup Curd
- 1 tsp Kasuri Methi
- 1 tsp Garam Masala
Instructions
- To make Dhaba style Paneer Masala first take 250 grams of Paneer and cut into cubes or any shape.
- Now, to marinate Paneer add 1 tsp of salt, 1/2 tsp of red chilli powder, 1/4 tsp of garam masala, and 2 pinches of turmeric powder, and coat the Paneer.
- Now, place a pan on medium flame, add 2 tbsp of ghee, and melt.
- Now add tossed Paneer in the pan and roast well on all sides for 2 minutes.
- Now place another pan on medium flame and add 2 tbsp of oil and 1 tbsp of ghee and heat.
- Now add 1 tsp of cumin seeds, 1 bay leaf, 2 cinnamon sticks, 3 crushed cardamoms, 5 cloves, 6 peppercorns, 1 tsp of coriander seeds and 3 dry red chilli and saute on low flame until aromatic.
- Now add 3 finely chopped onions and saute until golden.
- After the onion turns little pink, add 1 inch of grated ginger, 6 finely chopped garlic cloves, and roast everything well.
- Now add 3 slits green chilli, 1 tbsp of coriander powder, 1 tbsp of Kashmiri red chili powder, 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder, 1 tsp of cumin powder, 2 tbsp of gram flour/Besan.
- Now mix everything and saute well on low flame until aromatic.
- Now add 3 Grated Tomato, salt per taste, and mix everything well.
- Now, close the lid and cook for 2 minutes until it releases the oil.
- Now add 2 to 3 tbsp of water, mix well and cook.
- Now turn the flame low, add 1/2 cup of curd, and mix well, continuously stirring for 2-3 minutes.
- Now add 1 tsp of crushed Kasuri methi ,1 tsp of garam masala, and mix well.
- Now add water as required, mix well, close the lid, and cook for 2 minutes.
- Now add roasted Paneer to it, mix well, and cook for 2 minutes.
- Now turn off the flame and add finely chopped coriander.
- Now, your Paneer Masala is ready to serve, and you can enjoy it.
