Nariyal Paag Recipe | How to make Coconut Paag at Home | Coconut Paag Recipe
Materials
- 3 tbsp Poppy Seeds
- 160 grams Dry Coconut
- 12 pcs Almonds
- 1 tbsp Pistachio
- 2 cup Sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1 tsp Black Pepper
- 1/2 tsp Cardamom Powder
Instructions
- To make Nariyal Paag, first take 160 grams of coconut.
- Now, take a grater and grate the coconut with small size grater.
- Now place a pan on flame, add grated coconut, roast on low, medium flame, and stir continuously.
- After 2-3 minutes, turn off the flame and transfer the coconut to a plate.
- Now again into the pan, add 3 tbsp of poppy seeds and roast on low flame.
- After 1-2 minutes, turn off the flame and transfer it to a coconut plate.
- Now add eight chopped almonds, 1 tbsp of chopped pistachio, and dry roast on low flame.
- Now transfer both to the plate.
- Now again, plate the pan on flame and add 2 cups of sugar, 1 cup of water, and melt the sugar well on medium-high flame until it turns to 1 string consistency.
- While melting the sugar, take a plate and grease it with ghee.
- After sugar turns one string consistency, add all mixture into pan, mix well on low flame, and cook.
- Now add 1 tsp of black pepper powder, 1/2 tsp of cardamom powder, mix everything well, and cook for 1 minute.
- After 1 minute, turn off the flame, transfer it to the greased plate, and spread well.
- After some time, when it little hot, make the cut mark on the coconut Paag and let it set for 10-15 minutes.
- To remove the coconut Paag from the plate, rotate the coconut-Paag plate on the flame for some time.
- Now de-mold the Coconut Paag, and your Coconut Paag is completely ready.

Nariyal Paag Recipe – Step By Step

6 – After 1-2 minutes, turn off the flame and transfer it to a coconut plate.

9 – Now transfer both to the plate.
