Ingredients List Chana Chaat Recipe 

  • उबले चना – 2 कप
  • लाल मिर्च – 1 छोटा चम्मच
  • धनिया पाउडर – 1 छोटा चम्मच
  • जीरा पाउडर – 1 छोटा चम्मच
  • गरम मसाला – 1/2 छोटा चम्मच
  • काला नमक – 1/2 छोटा चम्मच
  • चाट मसाला – 1 छोटा चम्मच
  • पानी – 3 बड़े चम्मच
  • तेल – 1 चम्मच
  • जीरा – 1/2 छोटा चम्मच
  • हींग – 2 चुटकी
  • कसा हुआ अदरक – 1 छोटा चम्मच
  • नमक स्वादानुसार
  • उबले आलू – 1
  • कटा हुआ प्याज – 1
  • कटा हुआ टमाटर – 1
  • कटा हुआ पुदीना – 1 बड़ा चम्मच
  • कटा हरा धनिया
  • नींबू का रस

  • 2 cup Boiled Chickpea( Chana )
  • 1 tsp Red Chili 
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
  • 1/2 tsp Black salt
  • 1 tsp chaat masala
  • 3 tbsp water 
  • 1 tbsp. Oil 
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 2 pinch asafetida
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • salt as per teste
  • 1 Boiled Potato
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 tomato
  • Chopped Mint 
  • Chopped coriander
  • Lemon Juice


  • To make Spicy Chana Chaat, take 2 cups of black chickpea and soak it into the water overnight.
  • Now place a cooker on flame, add soaked black chickpea, 1.5 glass of water, salt as per taste and boil until 3 whistles.
  • After 3 whistle, turn off the flame, and let the pressure release completely.
  • After pressure releases, turn off the flame, remove the excess water and transfer the boiled chickpea into a bowl.
  • Now take a bowl, add 1 tsp of red chilli, 1 tsp of Coriander Powder, 1 tsp of cumin powder, 1/2 tsp of Garam Masala, 1/2 tsp Black salt, 1 tsp Chaat masala and Mix everything well.
  • Now add 3 tbsp of water, mix well and prepare a paste.
  • Now, place a pan on flame, add 1 tbsp of oil and heat well.
  • After the oil is hot, add 1/2 tsp of cumin seeds, 2 pinch asafoetida, 1 tsp of grated ginger, and saute everything on medium flame.
  • Now add the prepared spice paste, mix well and cook on medium flame.
  • After the spices release the oil, add Chana/boiled black chickpea and mix well.
  • Now add salt as per taste, mix well and cook for 3-4 minutes.
  • Now add boiled potato(cut into the diced form) and mix well.
  • Now turn off the flame, transfer the Chana/black chickpea to a bowl and let it cool completely.
  • After the Chana/Boiled Chickpea has cool down, add one finely chopped onion, 2 chopped green chilli, 2-3 tbsp of finely chopped tomatoes, 1 tbsp of chopped mint, finely chopped coriander, 1 tbsp of lemon juice and mix everything well.
  • To searve your Chana Chaat take a bowl, add prepared Chana Chaat to it.
  • Now your Perfect street style Chana Masala chaat is completely ready, and you can enjoy it.
