- Ghee – 1/2 cup
- Almonds – 70 gm
- Cashew – 30 gm
- Melon Seeds
- Raisins
- Fox Nuts – 50 gm
- Coconut – 1 cup
- Poppy Seeds – 1 tbsp
- Semolina/ Rava/ Sooji – 1 cup
- Dry Ginger Powder – 1 tsp
- Black Pepper Powder – 1/4 tsp
- Cardamom – 1/2 tsp
- Nutmeg Jaggery – 1 cup
Instructions
- Roast the Dry Fruits: Heat 1 tablespoon of ghee in a kadhai. Add 70 grams of almonds, 30 grams of cashews, and 2 tablespoons of melon seeds. Roast until aromatic, then transfer to a plate.
- Roast the Raisins: Add raisins to the remaining ghee and roast for a few seconds until they puff up. Remove and transfer to the plate with the dry fruits.
- Roast Foxnuts (Makhana): Add a little more ghee to the kadhai. Add foxnuts and roast on low flame until crispy. Transfer to the plate once done.
- Roast Coconut and Poppy Seeds: Add grated coconut and 1 tablespoon of poppy seeds to the kadhai. Roast until golden and aromatic. Transfer to the plate.
- Roast Edible Gum (Gond): Heat 2 tablespoons of ghee in the kadhai. Add edible gum and roast until it puffs up. Remove and transfer to the plate.
- Roast Semolina (Sooji): Add 2 more tablespoons of ghee to the kadhai. Add 1 cup of semolina and roast until golden and fragrant.
