Materials
- Ghee – 1 tbsp
- Almonds – 1/2 cup
- Walnuts – 1/4 cup
- Cashew – 1/4 cup
- Pistachio – 2 tbsp
- Raisins – 1/4 cup
- Dry Coconut – 1 cup
- Ghee – 1 tbsp
- Pumpkin Seeds – 1/4 cup
- Melon Seeds – 1/4 cup
- White Sesame – 2 tbsp
- Flax Seeds – 2 tbsp
- Poppy Seeds – 1 tbsp
- Cardamom Powder – 1/2 tsp
- Black Pepper Powder – 1/4 tsp
- Rock Sugar – 1 – 1/4 cup
- Water – 1 cup
Instructions
- To make these delicious and healthy Dry Fruits Ladoo, heat 1 tablespoon of ghee in a kadhai over medium flame.
- Add ½ cup of almonds, ¼ cup of walnuts, ¼ cup of cashews, and 2 tablespoons of pistachios. Roast them lightly until aromatic.
- Once roasted, transfer the dry fruits to a plate and set them aside.
- In the same kadhai, add ¼ cup of raisins and roast until they puff up. Transfer them to the plate with the other dry fruits.
- Now, add 1 cup of grated coconut to the kadhai and roast lightly until it turns golden. Transfer to a plate and set aside.
- Add 2 tablespoons of ghee to the kadhai and heat it well.
- Once hot, add ¼ cup of pumpkin seeds, ¼ cup of melon seeds, 2 tablespoons of sesame seeds, 2 tablespoons of flax seeds, and 1 tablespoon of poppy seeds. Roast everything on low flame until fragrant.
- After roasting, turn off the flame and transfer the seeds to a plate to cool.
- In a grinding jar, add the roasted almonds, cashews, pistachios, and walnuts. Grind them into a coarse powder.
- Mix in ½ teaspoon of cardamom powder and ¼ teaspoon of black pepper powder with the ground dry fruits.
- Place the kadhai back on the flame, add 1¼ cups of rock sugar and 1 cup of water. Stir until the rock sugar melts and forms a sticky syrup.
- Once the syrup reaches the sticky consistency, add the prepared dry fruit mixture to the kadhai. Mix well and cook for about 2 minutes.
- After 2 minutes, transfer the mixture onto a plate and let it cool slightly.
- When the mixture is cool enough to handle but still warm, shape it into small ladoos.
