- Chopped Green Chilli – 2 Pcs
- Chopped Ginger – 1 inch
- Chopped Onion – 1 pcs
- Cumin – 1/2 tsp
- Water – 3 tsp
- Oil – 1 tbsp
- Carom Seeds – 1/2 tsp
- Nigella Seeds – 1 tsp
- White Sesame – 1 tsp
- Asafoetida – 1/4 tsp
- Red Chilli Flakes – 1 tsp
- Salt as per Taste
- Garam Masala – 1/2 tsp
- Chaat Masala – 1 tbsp
- Water – 1 cup
- Rice Flour – 250 gram
- Wheat Flour – 1/2 cup
- Chopped Coriander Leaves
- Oil – 1 tbsp
Instructions
- To prepare the delicious Chawal Matar Masala Poori, take a grinding jar and add 1 cup of green peas, 2 roughly chopped green chilies, 1-inch piece of chopped ginger, and 1 chopped onion.
- Add 1/2 tsp of cumin seeds, a little water, and grind everything into a smooth paste.
- Heat a pan on medium flame, add 1 tbsp of oil, and let it warm up.
- Once the oil is hot, add 1/2 tsp of carom seeds, 1 tsp of nigella seeds, 1 tsp of white sesame seeds, 1/4 tsp of asafoetida, and 1 tsp of red chili flakes. Sauté briefly.
- After 20-30 seconds, pour in the prepared green peas paste and sauté for a few minutes.
- Add salt to taste, 1 tsp of garam masala, 1 tbsp of chaat masala, and 1 cup of water. Stir well to combine.
- Once the mixture starts boiling, turn off the flame and mix in 250 grams of rice flour until a dough starts to form.
- Turn the flame back on and cook the dough for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
