Materials
- Chana Dal – 1 cup
- Curd – 1/4 cup
- Grated Ginger
- Chopped Green Chilli – 3 pcs
- Oil – 1 tsp
- Salt – 1 tsp
- Turmeric – 1 pinch
- Grated Carrot – 1 pcs
- Chopped Green
- Capsicum- 4 tbsp
- Chopped Yellow
- Capsicum- 4 tbsp
- Chopped Totato – 1 pcs
- Chopped French Beans
- Chopped Coriander
- Fruit Salt – 1 tsp
- Oil – 2 tsp
- Mustard Seeds – 1 tsp
- Asafoetida – 1 pinch
- Kadhi Patta
- Green Chilli
Instructions
- To make the amazing Chana Dal Dhokla, take 1 cup of chana dal and soak it.
- Drain the excess water and transfer the soaked dal into a grinding jar.
- Add 1/4 cup of curd and a little water, grind well, and make a thick paste.
- Now transfer the batter into a bowl and whisk well.
- Now add chopped ginger, chopped green chilies, 1 teaspoon of oil, salt as per taste, and 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric powder.
- Now add grated carrot, chopped green capsicum, chopped yellow capsicum, 1 chopped tomato, 2 tablespoons of chopped beans, and chopped coriander, and mix everything well.
- Now place a Kadhai on the flame, add water, close the lid, and boil the water.
- In the batter, add Eno fruit salt and a little water, and mix well.
- Now take small greased bowls and fill the prepared batter into them.
- After the water starts boiling, place a big plate into the Kadhai and place all the batter bowls on the plate.
- Now close the lid and cook for 12–14 minutes.
- Now place a small pan on the flame, add 2 tablespoons of oil, and heat well.
- After the hot oil, add 1 tsp of mustard seeds, and two pinches of asafoetida, turn off the flame, and add curry leaves and green chillies.
- After 12–14 minutes, check your dhokla and transfer the plate to a platform.
- After the dhokla cools, de-mould the dhokla and pour the prepared tempering on them.
- Now your perfect Chana Dal Dhokla is completely ready, and you can enjoy it.
