Materials
- Gooseberry – 600 gm
- Rock Sugar – 500 gm
- Cloves – 4 pcs
- Black Pepper
- Cinnamon – 2 pcs
- Jaggery – 300 gm
- Black Salt – 1/2 tsp
- Salt as per Taste
- Dry Ginger Powder – 1 tsp
- Turmeric – 1/4 tsp
- Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder – 1/2 tsp
- Cardamom Powder – 1/2 pcs
- Melon Seeds
Instructions
- To make the amazing Amla Ki Launji Chunda, take 600 grams of fresh gooseberry, wash well, and clean the water with the help of a cloth.
- Now grate all the gooseberries with the help of a grater.
- Now take a grinding jar, add 500 grams of Mishri, and make a fine powder.
- Now take a nonstick pan, add a little Mishri powder, and make a layer.
- Now add the prepared little grated gooseberries and make a layer.
- Now do this multiple times until Mishri powder and grated gooseberries finish.
- Now add 4 cloves, black pepper, and cinnamon stick on top.
- Now place the pan on flame, add cook on low flame for 3 minutes with closed lid.
- After 3 minutes, remove the lid, add 500 grams of crushed jaggery, and mix well.
- After cooking for some time, add 1/2 tsp of black salt, 1 tsp of white salt, 1 tsp of dry ginger powder, 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder, and 1/2 tsp of Kashmiri red chili powder and mix well.
- After the Launji Chunda turns thick, turn off the flame, add 1/2 tsp. of cardamom powder, and melon seeds, and mix everything well.
