Lauki Ka Halwa Recipe | How to make Lauki Ka Halwa | Bottle Gourd Halwa
Materials
- Bottle Gourd – 1 kg
- Ghee – 1 tbsp
- Cashew – 2 tsp
- Resins – 2 tsp
- Almonds – 2 tsp
- Milk – 2 cup
- Malai – 1 cup
- Sugar – 1 cup
- Green Food Color – 1 pinch
- Cardamom Powder – 1/4 tsp
- Ghee – 1 tsp
Instructions
- To make the perfect Lauki Ka Halwa, take 1 kg of Bottle gourd (Lauki), wash Well, and peel it.
- Now cut both ends, cut the Lauki into pieces, and remove the middle seed portion.
- Now grate the Lauki with the help of a medium-sized grater.
- Now place a Kadhai on the flame, add 1 tablespoon of ghee, and heat well.
- Now add chopped dry fruits and roast well until golden.
- After the dry fruits turn golden, transfer them to a plate.
- Now add grated Lauki to the Kadhai and roast well.
- After two minutes, turn the flame to low and cover the lid for two minutes.
- Now place a pan on flame, add 2 cups of milk, and heat on medium flame.
- After the Lauki turns soft, add hot milk, cook for 5 minutes, and stir continuously.
- After 5–6 minutes, add 1/2 cup of milk cream and cook for another 5–6 minutes.
- After 5–6 minutes, add 1 cup of milk and cook.
- Now add a pinch of green (optional) and mix well.
- Now add 1/4 tsp. of cardamom powder and 1 tsp. of ghee and mix well.
- Now add the roasted dry fruits and mix well.
- Now turn off the flame, and you can serve it.
- Now your perfect Lauki Ka Halwa is completely ready, and you can enjoy it.
