Materials
- Cauliflower – 1
- Oil – 3 tbsp
- Turmeric Powder - 1 Pinch
- Red Chili Powder
- Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
- Clove – 2
- Black Pepper – 4 to 5
- Coarse Coriander – 1 tbsp
- Bay Leaf – 1
- Red Chili – 2
- Chopped Onion – 2
- Chopped Green Chili – 3
- Chopped Ginger- 1 tbsp
- Cumin Powder – 1 tsp
- Coriander Powder – 2 tbsp
- Kashmiri Red Chili Powder – 1/2 tsp
- Red Chili Powder – 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric Powder – 1/2 tsp
- Black Pepper Powder – 1 tsp
- Chopped Garlic – 1 tbsp
- Tomato paste – 3 pcs
- Curd – 3 tbsp
- Kasoori Methi – 1 tbsp
- water 3/4 cup
- Garam Masala – 1/2 tsp
- Green chilli & ginger julienne
Instructions
- To make Perfect Gobi Matar Masala, first take one Big Gobi(Cauliflower), 1 cup of Boiled Green Peas.
- Now wash the gobi 4-5 times and cut it into small-medium pieces and make a small cut in the steam of Gobi Pieces so this will cook perfectly.
- Now sprinkle one pinch of turmeric, one pinch of salt, one pinch of red chilli powder, and mix well.
- Now place a Kadhai on flame and add 3 tbsp of oil and heat well.
- After the oil is Hot, add gobi into it and fry well until golden for 3-4 minutes.
- After the Gobi turns golden, turn off the flame and transfer it to a plate.
- Now, into Kadhai, add 2 tbsp of oil and heat.
- Now add 1 tsp of cumin seeds, two cloves, 4-5 peppercorns, two pcs of cinnamon stick, 1 tbsp of coarse coriander, one bay leaf, two dry red chillies, and roast a little.
- After Masala starts crackling, add two finely chopped onions, two finely chopped green chilli, 1 tbsp of chopped ginger, 1 tbsp of finely chopped garlic, and roast until the onion turns a little golden on low flame.
- Now take a bowl and add 2 tbsp of coriander powder, 1/2 tsp of Kashmiri red chilli powder, 1/2 tsp of regular red chilli powder, 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder, 1 tsp of cumin powder, 1/4 tsp of pepper powder, 2-3 tbsp of water and mix well.
- After 2 Minutes of roasting onion, add prepared Masala mixture, mix everything well, and cook for 1 minute.
- After 1 minute, add coarse paste of tomatoes, salt as per taste, 1 cup of peas and mix everything well.
- After mixing it, close the lid and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- After 2-3 minutes, remove the lid and add 3 tbsp of fresh curd, 1 tbsp of Kasuri methi and mix well.
- Now again, close the lid and cook for 1 minute.
- After one minute, remove the lid and after gravy starts releasing the oil, add fried gobi and mix well.
- Now add 3/4 cup of hot water and mix well.
- Now, close the lid and cook for 5 minutes.
- After 5 minutes, remove the lid and add 1/2 tsp of Garam Masala, finely chopped coriander, and mix well.20 – Now turn off the flame and garnish it with coriander, green chilli & ginger julienne.

Gobi Matar Masala Recipe – Step By Step

18 – Now, close the lid and cook for 5 minutes.
19 – After 5 minutes, remove the lid and add 1/2 tsp of Garam Masala, finely chopped coriander, and mix well.
20 – Now turn off the flame and garnish it with coriander, green chilli & ginger julienne.
21 – Now your Perfect Restaurant style Gobi Matar Masala is ready, and you can enjoy it.
