Coconut Malai Laddu Recipe | How to make Coconut Malai Laddu | Nariyal Malai Laddu
Materials
- 1/2 liter Milk
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1/2 cup Crushed Cashewnuts
- 3 tbsp Desiccated Coconut
- Saffron Strands Soaked in milk
- 2 tbsp Sugar Powder
- 1/4 tsp Cardamom Powder
- 3 tbsp Malai
- Lemon Food Color
- 1 tbsp Ghee
- 2 cups Desiccated Coconut
- Saffron Strands for Garnish
Instructions
- To make Nariyal cream Laddu, first place a pan on flame and add 1/2 litre of milk and boil until it reduces to 1/2 of its quantity.
- Wile boiling the milk, take a grinding jar and add 1/2 cup of crushed cashew, 3 tbsp of desiccated coconut, saffron milk, 2 tbsp of sugar powder, 1/4 tsp of cardamom powder, 3 tbsp of milk malai(cream), lemon food colour.
- Now add 1 tbsp of milk and grind everything well and make a thick paste.
- Now malai stuffing is ready and transfers it into a bowl.
- Now check the milk, and after it turns to 1/2 of its quantity, add 1 cup of sugar, mix well, and melt the sugar.
- After the sugar melts completely, turn off the flame, take out the pan from the flame, and keep it aside.
- Now, place another pan on flame and add 1 tbsp of ghee and melt.
- After ghee melts, add 2 cups of desiccated coconut, mix well, and roast on low, medium flame.
- After roasting the coconut, add the prepared milk mixture into the pan and mix everything well and cook until the mix starts leaving the pan.
- After the mix starts leaving the pan, turn off the flame and let the mix a little cool.
- Now grease your hands with oil/ghee, take lemon size mix, and prepare a round laddu.
- Now roll it into desiccated coconut and coat on all sides.
- Now prepare laddu from the remaining mix and coat them with desiccated coconut.
- Now, let it set in the fridge for 15 minutes.
- After 15 minutes, take out the laddu from the fridge.
- Now we will make malai laddu and, for this, take a laddu and cut it into two parts.
- Now spread prepared malai mix on both parts of laddu.
- Now place the second part on the first part, close the laddu well, and remove the excess malai.
- Now fill the malai in the remaining laddu and prepare all malai laddu.
- Now garnish all laddu with saffron strands.
- Now your delicious Malai coconut laddu is ready, and you can enjoy it.
