Materials
- Basmati rice – 1.5 cup
- Ghee – 2 tbsp
- Oil – 2 tbsp
- Bay Leaf – 2
- Star Anise – 1
- Cinnamon Stick – 1 piece
- Green Cardamom – 2
- Black Cardamom – 1
- Cloves – 4
- Black Peppercorns – 4
- Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
- Chopped Onion – 1
- Ginger And Garlic Paste – 1 tsp
- Asafoetida – 1/4 tsp
- Sallied Green chilli – 4 to 5
- Chopped Tomato – 2
- Chopped Potato – 1
- Chopped Carrot – 1
- French beans – 1/2 cup
- Green peas – 1/2 cup
- Curd – 1/2 cup
- Turmeric – 1/4 tsp
- Red Chili Powder – 1 tsp
- Coriander Powder – 1 tsp
- Cumin Powder – 1 tsp
- Garam Masala – 1 tsp
- Salt as per Taste
- Chopped Coriander
- Chopped mint leaves
- Lemon juice – 1/2 tsp
Instructions
- To make the amazing Masala Veg Pulao, take 1.5 cups of Basmati Rice.
- Next step – wash the rice and soak it in water for 20 minutes.
- After 20 minutes, check the rice and drain the water.
- Next step – place a cooker on flame, add 2 tbsp of ghee, and 2 tsp of oil, and heat well.
- Next step – add two bay leaves, 1-star anise, one piece of cinnamon stick, two green cardamom, one black cardamom, four cloves, four peppercorn & 1 tsp of cumin seeds, and saute everything well.
- After some seconds, add one chopped onion and saute well on high flame.
- After the onion turns pink, add 1 tsp of ginger garlic paste, 1/4 tsp of asafoetida, 4-5 slit green chilli, and mix everything well.
- 8 – Next step – add two chopped tomatoes, and roast well until soft.
- After the tomatoes turn soft, add one roughly chopped tomato, one chopped carrot, 1/2 cup of French beans, and 1/2 cup of green peas, mix everything well and cook for 4-5 minutes.
- After 4-5 minutes, add 1/2 cup of curd and mix well.
- Next step – add 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder, 1 tsp of red chilli powder, 1 tsp of coriander powder, 1 tsp of cumin powder, 1 tsp of garam masala, salt as per taste, and mix everything well.
- After 2-3 minutes, add soaked rice and stir well gently.
- Next step – add chopped coriander, chopped mint leaves and mix well.
- Next step – add 2.5 cups of water and mix well.
- Next step – add 1/2 tsp of lemon juice, close the lid and cook on medium flame until one whistle.
- After one whistle, turns the flame to low and cook on low flame for 2-3 minutes.
- After 2-3 minutes, turn off the flame and let the pressure release.
- After the pressure is released, remove the lid and check your Masala Veg Pulao.
- Now, your Masala Veg Pulao is completely ready, and you can enjoy it.
